OMOTON Wireless Rechargeable LED Keyboard

My expectations were not particularly high…I just needed a bluetooth keyboard that I could use with my iPad when I traveled. I have been really impressed with the OMOTON. First, it’s extremely light and compact. In addition, the box it comes in is barely larger than the keyboard and is made of a nice, stiff cardboard so I am keeping that to use as a travel case when I throw the keyboard in my backpack or suitcase. I figured that being so small and lightweight that I would be sacrificing the feel of the key action…I was wrong. The keys feel great and I’m easily able to type at my max ~60 word-per-minute speed. It frankly feels better than the built-in keyboards on the Dell laptops I used to use for business (I’m happily retired now). There are a couple of keys that occasionally don’t “take” when I hit them but I think that is more about me hitting them too lightly than an issue with the keyboard. The auto-off function works great…I wasn’t actually planning on using it but have done so “accidentally” (hey, I’m old and I forget things) and it both shuts off and resumes with ease. I should also mention that the bluetooth hookup was also quite easy. The keyboard is attractive and both looks and feels like quality hardware. I haven’t used the feature but the colored backlighting on the keys is effective and attractive in all of the color choices. Overall, I have no hesitation recommending this keyboard and would readily buy it again.

At first, I wanted to give it 3 stars because it came out of the package wobbly. Not extremely wobbly, but the front corners are bouncing…. Then I remembered this was only $20… So if I destroy it I am not to upset over it.

Pros, Super lightweight, super bright, and it was 3-d printed and it was $20
Cons, not perfectly balanced, and the buttons do stick up some. The corners are the right length to keep the buttons from being randomly pushed down during transport, but the 3d print is not super stiff so it does bend a little..and it probably would bend in the middle giving enough pressure.

so yea.. 4 out of 5 because it was cheap… it does work, but it did not blow me away

Perfect for what I need it for!

This MOTON Bluetooth Keyboard was purchased to use with an iPad Pro and it works perfectly.
It is easy to connect with bluetooth, it has a great key touch, and the color backlighting works perfectly. It is very compact and extremely light. It arrived well packaged in a very strong box.

This little keyboard is a simple little thing but very light-weight, easy to connect, absolutely no hassle. It is perfect for typing on a tablet, which is what I use it for. It was a no-brainer to connect and use. The battery seems to last a good, hasn’t died on me yet. I can’t speak to the actual battery life, I don’t use it for travel or anything where the battery life would be essential to me. But, for someone who just uses it home, it is perfect. I’m very happy with it and I like the color options. For the price, this keyboard is very worth it. It may not have all kind of bells and whistles but it is practical. Keys feel satisfying to type with. What can I say? It’s worth it for the price, better quality than I was expecting. So, if simple and affordable is what you’re looking for, this is the keyboard for you. (This review was written on the keyboard!)

This is a good keyboard. I enjoy the rgb feature and it’s lightweight. Battery life is good and it hasn’t dyed on me yet at school. Better than paying the $100 for an apple Magic Keyboard or whatever it’s called
