…provided you don’t need high-speed, the latest-and-greatest graphics. For older games and productivity software and browsing it is an inexpensive, quality choice. There are two connectors on the back: VGA and HDMI, I’m using VGA on an Optiplex 380 (about 2010) and it works wonderfully.
A word of warning to angry gamers. This monitor is not a punching bag; do not hit it in a fit of anger. If you break it, you buy it. If you have a short temper, that is–but–I wouldn’t know anything about that…

    Conclusion

El equipo es muy bueno y puede competir muy bien con algunos muy caros, por lo cual puede que no encuentres nada igual a menos que sea de uso.

  4. DONT BUY IT

This monitor is cheap. The display is definitely not great and I would not use this monitor for gaming. It works perfect as a second monitor for myself where I watch videos or have discord pulled up while my game is on another monitor. The screen has a light filter on it, not sure what you would call it, but essentially if you are not looking directly at the screen, it is darkened/discolored. So not the best for watching movies either. This is just a cheap monitor option. It is VGA mountable and I had no issues mounting it, also works vertical when mounted. The stand it comes with I have not used, but it looks big and bulky to me and would take up more space than I would want. Over all, for the price it is good but if you are looking for a strong gaming monitor for $50 more you can get much higher quality ones.

Son has a gaming rig with a huge monitor but also needed one for other apps and such. Bought the smaller soon if the average he games on and couldn’t be happier. Great quality, picture, size and weight. Screen clarity is awesome too.

I love it! I was using a portable monitor, but it stopped working so I got a new HDMI cable,, and it was fine again for a while and then it stopped working again. Not sure if it’s the cable or the port, but I decided to get a regular monitor to use as my 2nd screen to my laptop. The portable monitor was 16″ and I paid over $100 (if I remember correctly), but this monitor was only about $65 and is 19″. Much better. If I have to take it with me when I have to evacuate because of a hurricane, I will, even if it will be less “portable”. I use it for my Access database anyway, so the bigger screen size is awesome! It’s great–was a simple process to connect–just plug it in and hook up the HDMI cable, switch it on from the back and change my display settings to Extend and I was in business. Until it came in, I was having to use 2 laptops–a big one and a little one, but that meant 2 keyboards and 2 mice–such a mess!

For the price, this is a decent display. Size, sharpness, and refresh rate. My only complaints are that the stand isn’t the great, there is no adjustability and it sits pretty low. So I ended up getting another stand for it. And that the colors aren’t bad but they feel dull and there is a lot of green. But over all, it’s great for my secondary display. (The picture is a color comparison to the Acer Nitro XZ270. Nitro to the left, KC242Y to the right)

I have it setup as a second monitor. It’s pretty good. I’m not sure how it would run for gaming/playing a game but it’s good to have as a second monitor, it’s not too expensive.

Perfect for the intended need, great picture rendition,, fast refresh rate and priced right for my needs. This is being utilized for my associations security system for real time and playback purposes of our Condo building internal and outside surrounding grounds.

For my budget, it is an excellent monitor that works really well and has really good picture quality, just note that since it is not an IPS display, dark colors can be shown badly
