Lifts engines just fine, works as advertised. The only problem I have with this tool is the handle used to level the engine weight does not protrude out past the tool much at all, making for if the chains are out in front of the tool at all the handle gets stuck on the chains while rotating around Making it very difficult to rotate. Works great might need some handle modifications if you run into this problem.

Super useful tool and made the job a ton easier but its obvious corners were cut during manufacturing, the biggest issue revolve around the threaded adjuster at the top is not fitted well to the body and will bend, jump, and bind up frequently when loaded up antiseize helps prevent binding but the chinsy welds on the threaded rod and the cheap thin handle were big negatives during use, i would want something sturdier if i need one again

This allowed me to lift a 351C and transmission with ease. The motor is 550lb by itself. Was able to angle the powertrain, as I lifted it from the car. Very impressed with the quality.
