Have used it a few times to diagnose a few problems also the program some unlock and lock fobs for my daughter’s truck 2008 Colorado worked flawlessly and definitely enjoying the ability and functionality of this scanner very happy with it.

This scanner exceeds the expectations of its price point and is a really great tool for diagnosis and testing, while still being user friendly.
Features like bi-directional control and the ability to program keys make this scanner a must have for anyone from the DIY guy to a dealership mechanic without the premium cost of units like snap on. I use the bidirectional controls often to test commonly failed components like fan resistors and fuel pumps.
The screen is nice and bright and the camera is a great additional feature. I also like that the hard case has straps inside to keep it from moving around during transportation.
This scanner also has update capability and wifi connectivity so you’ll always be up to date with the newest models and features without ever having to plug into a computer.
All in all I can not think of a better scanner as far as functionality and user interface at this price point. If you’re looking to pick up a scanner in this price range, this one will not disappoint!
Improved Garage –
At its core, this is an android based tablet that has diagnostic software installed on it. It comes in a black hard plastic case, with a charger and the diagnostic cable. The case has room for additional accessories as you grow or add more components. The unit itself has rubberized sides and is well built.
Out of the box you connect it to your wifi and tell it to download software for whatever brand of vehicle you want to use it with. The tablet has enough storage to install all brands (which is what i did), this took about 2 hours total on my wifi. The unit comes with 1 year of autel software which is used for the updates, the subscription is 150/year but does not need to be renewed in order to use the unit, just to continue to update it.
Overall the unit works really well and would be a great value for a shop who needs to do diagnostics on a regular basis, it has access to all systems, ABS, SRS, service, etc. In my limited testing i found the system to be fast and responsive and work as expected. Its nice that there is also a web browser for googleing issues or looking up parts, because this is an android tablet.

Have had this scanner for almost a year and by far it’s the best scanner I’ve owned. Does everything you need. If you’re looking for an overall 10 out of 10 scanner this is it. Autel you’ve blown my mind with an affordable scanner that connects to every computer a car has. Did I forget to mention the free updates? I’ve owned a handful of scanners from cheap to super expensive and by far this is the best, touch screen, clean graphics and super quick full system scan. A+++ for Autel!!!!

This tool has a ton of features from service functions to live data and manufacture fault codes. Easy to navigate, easy to set up. No issues so far. Obviously there’s cheaper tools less options and more expensive tools with more options. This tool is a good combination of both. Great value.
