This hose end foam cannon is “the” best value for anyone who doesn’t want to deal with a pressure washer. The construction and materials are industrial grade. The quick disconnect works perfectly; and the balance when full excellent. The mix ratio (soap/water) selector is exact. This foam cannon is as good or better than those higher priced. A great value.

I have been using a spray and rinse product since I’ve been riding motorcycles which has served me well but I’ve been looking for a new solution keeping my vehicles clean. After looking at over dozen similar items I decided to give Foam King a shot, figuring if I’m not satisfied I could always return it. To my surprise it works better than I anticipated, taking under 10 minutes to wash, rinse and dry one of my motorcycles (Honda Navi). The included mitt and towel feel premium and I have no issues with fitting the mitt on my hand. The soap I purchased to use with this is made by Chemical Guys (CWS21616) which worked well with this foam gun (and smells amazing). I did not observe any leakage during my use but I will not keep this attached to my hose unless I’m actively using it. The video I posted in this review has the foam gun set to the lowest water/soap mixture.

I really loved this foam cannon . It made washing my SL550 easy . I can foam the entire car . Use my sponge mitt., hose it down. Blow the water off and done.
But after 16 months and a total of maybe 25 washes, the gun leaks from every direction at the quick connect and without the pressure soap gets wasted

I forgot to take a vid, the photo isn’t nearly descriptive. Let me say if you own a pressure washer and a foam cannon already it won’t come close. That should be obvious to anyone.
This is perfect for a quick clean and does a fantastic job. I didn’t use anything special just a wash I already had, ‘Meguiars’, and it produced a decent amount of foam. I’m sure a formulated wash designed specifically for that would produce better results with this product. I like that the nozzle connects so it sets up easy. The construction is pretty sturdy for being plastic but I wouldn’t be careless and let it fall from a height. I would expect it to break if it was up higher than 4 ft and fell. Overall isn’t bad and I’ve used it multiple times a week since I’ve bought this June. It’s still going strong.

I decided to get this foam gun for quick car washes when I am in a hurry and want to get the job done fast.

The gun is made with good quality materials, brass couplings and thick plastics. It gives an impression of sturdiness not often found in cheaper similar items.

It is really simple, you can hook your garden hose and put some of your favorite soap in the dispenser and top up with water and you are done.

The water gun and foaming assembly are held together by quick connect couplings and take only 1 second to remove without tools. It is very convenient when you want to switch between foaming the car and rinsing.

I’ve used chemical guys foaming car soap and it gave great results. Be sure to try different settings on the foamer dial; the lower the number, the more soap you will use. You can really empty the soap tank within a few minutes if you don’t pay attention. I found that #3 gives a good balance between suds thickness and soap usage.

So, have realistic expectations and do not expect thick shave cream soap like you see on fancy social media and you will be satisfied. If you want more foam, the next step is to use a foam cannon and a power washer but you will lose on the convenience factor.

A great buy for my situation

This is a great product. Works well with connecting to hose that has similar fittings. Very simplistic and gets the job done. The only negative is that the container that holds the soap will dent easily if dropped. But the connections are really durable. It’s easy to quickly disconnect and hose off soap. No need really to use power washer with same type of connection. There is no difference in results. I have both and it’s great not having to wait when no one is sleeping.
