I just installed it yesterday, but so far I’m fully satisfied with it. Installation was easy and fast. Immediately, my network was found and I’ve been connected at 54mbps ever since. Quite honestly, my internet connection is stronger than when I have a wired connection to the router. There are two walls between the computer’s card and my router with approximately 20 feet between. It suits my needs and works great so far. I will comment if there are any problems. I’m using XP SP3.

I uses less CPU resources than other cards I have tried. I don’t know how well it works with Vista/7/8, but it works great with XP.

I’m a technology professional, and I had some trouble getting the included software to work right. I had to move back and forth between the Windows (Vista) utilities and the D-Link utility, and finally gave up and just used Windows to configure the card. I have two other computers in the house, and their WiFi card software is much, much more useful.

Running good old XP (32 bit) and the card works flawlessly. Got it for $11.50 here on amazon. Very impressed.

Bought the DLink after reviewing several options to turn my home computer’s hard wired connection into wireless. Computer is less than 15′ from the Linksys router, no walls in between, I get 100% signal (from the same location) on my Dell laptop, but only 35-50% on the computer with this card. Initial response from DLink support was disappointing, they suggested I try the card in another computer. Starting to regret this purchase.

I hate this card. Tech support is not helpful. I am returning this product.
