Don –
I have been using this brand of silk and steel acoustic guitar strings for years because they are very versatile for wide playing styles of fingerpicking and plectrum. I find that using a mineral oil wipe such as Fast Fret after each session keeps the strings lively and great tone. I recommend these strings to others and would buy them if packs of 3 or 6 if they were available.
EMALCARAM –
Two of the anchor loops broke while the well experienced Guitar Tech was installing.
Eric W Nelson –
I’m new to playing 12-string acoustic and really struggled with some of the other, more expensive “light” strings. I put these on and it was night-and-day difference. I think they even sounded better than either of the previous sets I had on this guitar–exactly how a 12-string is supposed to sound in my mind. Highly recommend!
Nostredamus –
Installed on my 12 string. Sound great.
Dave Elsdon –
They have a different tone in there between regular strings and nylon strings, so you still get a certain amount of good tone out of them
Man muß kaum nachstimmen.
nichts besseres gefunden.
Gruß aus Köln
Don Grose –
I’ve loved the sound and played 12 string guitar for fifty years ! It’s taken fifty years and good fortune to find what I think are the ultimate strings…The D’Addario EJ-35 Silk and Steel Light Guage 11-47 completely took me by surprise…I wasn’t expecting much to be honest but the first time I strummed the guitar with these strings it felt and sounded like a brand new instrument. Such a smooth, clean, relaxing tone…easy on the ears and just as pleasing on the fingers..

My husband likes these strings. He always used Martin silk and steel 12 strings, but couldn’t find them anymore. He tried these and is very happy with them.
Michele Brewer –
Very easy on your fingers! Great tone!
Dirty Bird –
I like these strings for their warm & mellow sound. They are easy on the fingers, and I prefer the silver-wrapped basses.
robin –
for my husbands birthday I got him these because he had been talking about new strings and he loves them…they give him the sound he was looking for
Dora Johnson –
Love the feel, love the warmth. Hardly and wind noise when moving up the neck. Provides the nice jangle of the 12 string Taylor, but evens out the brightness and bass end very pleasingly. Moving away from Elixer. Can’t believe I’m saying it but it’s true.
