These strings have been perfect for me on my Godin A6 and I have never had an issue with the 3rd wound string unraveling as one other reviewer commented on. They are long lasting and sound beautiful through my Fishman Loudbox mini charge. My stringing method is to measure just passed the next tuning machine head, cut at that point, pull the string back so that about 1/8″ of string protrudes, and wind with one turn over then the rest under method to secure the string. I then stretch the entire lengths of the strings. Stays in tune. I also use Music Nomad String Fuel after every playing session to prolong the string life and reduce string discoloration.

Get your string slots properly widened at both the nut and the bridge and the sound will be a big tonal improvement. I went with the wound G as I really wanted to push a lot of tone out thru the amp.
