I forage for mushrooms so I was very intrigued by this DOVE MEN + CARE Rebalance Body Wash Tea Leaves and Chaga 4 Count With Vitamin and Mineral Complex Moisturizing Body Wash! Chaga is well known for having a multitude of benefits when ingested in teas, etc. While I don’t think you are going to get the full health benefits from chaga in a body wash, it still piqued my interest in the product. The Tea Leaves and Chaga blend is a unique combination. The scent is appealing. Even my teenagers agree that the scent smells good. The body wash works well to clean and has an appropriate amount of lather. This 4 pack will last for quite a long time.

I opened the box and pulled out one bottle to check out. I took the cap off and took a sniff. I was immediately impressed by the aroma. I find that it has a fantastic scent, which is primarily where my 5 stars come from–its rare that I really love a scent, that I would intentionally pick it out if I were sniffing bottles at a store. Your experience may differ.
I dont find it to be a “strong” scent, not like Axe and other body washes. Robust but not strong. Doesnt remind me of laundry soap or cologne like so many do. This is aromatic and has a neutral, “natural” scent profile that may be appealing to more than just the fellas. I tend to avoid the men’s products as the scenting isn’t for me, but this one is so nice that I am tempted to continue to use it. Might have to fight my husband for it. It actually has a scent that I would like for a handwash. GIves the room a little burst of scent which I find appealing.
Thinner viscosity than some. Plenty of lather. Easily pourable, not a thick cream like wash. Seems to wash and help keep odor at bay. Doesnt seem to strip. I’m terrible at following up a shower with lotion, so I try to only use products that dont strip my skin. This seems to be fine so far.

I got these knowing it would be a risk whether my husband would use it and assuming my son would take them. I figured my husband would take one look at the name, Tea Leaves & Chaga (what hd chaga anyway?) and say “nope”. I also wasn’t sure what to expect from a scent standpoint because I do not know what on earth chaga is.
All that said, it’s got a great masculine fragrance and is in line with how other men’s soaps smell. It’s moisturizing and my husband said my son can have just one of the four bottles (and that’s saying something as this man has used the exact same body wash for more than 15 years).
I also really like the clear and easy to takeaway key points label. I’ll be surprised if my husband doesn’t want me to purchase again!
