Update – dropping my review to 1 star. After a couple weeks of not hearing back from the company (conveniently after the 30 day return period), they finally responded and shipped a new screen. Except, the new screen has ~2″ connector cables rather than the ~8″ cables you need to actually install the screen. Ridiculous.
Don’t buy this machine.
The rower assembled easily with the included tools. It is working pretty well, except the lower section of the LCD screen doesn’t work. I’ve reached out to DripeX customer service and received no reply.
The machine seems sturdy enough overall, but there are three things that kind of bug me about it.
1) The foot straps are a PITA to actually tighten down. They go through a slot in the plastic foot bed and it binds the strap making it very hard to tighten.
2) The strap that attaches the handle to the fly wheel exits the machine at an upward angle, so it’s constantly rotating the handle in your hands.
3) The distance measurement is weird. It indicates Meters, but I believe its actually 10x Meters (so 001 is actually 10 meters, not 1 meter). I think this because it takes three rows for the machine to tick up one digit in that first units place. Which brings me to the other half of this. No matter what resistance setting I’m on, it takes 2.5 strokes per 10 meters (or one digit in the first units place). Normally higher resistance will equate to more distance per stroke. Not the case here. It’s always 2.5 strokes per distance (2 for every 5 strokes).
Overall it’s not bad considering the price, but it would be really nice to have a fully functioning screen.

This was relatively easy to assemble, took around 25-30 minutes to assemble. The seat is comfortable, it’s very sturdy. Great tension on the pulley. Doesn’t come with batteries ( which is disappointing considering the price you pay for it. ) so unable to tell you anything about the display until I get done batteries.

Ich bin selbst Trainer seit 30+ Jahren, 1,85, 100 kg und habe zig Bodybuilding Wettkampfvorbereitungen in Gyms auf Concept 2 gemacht.
Für das Geld ist das Rudergeräte der Hammer! Stabil, sauber und hochwertig verarbeitet, läuft wie auf Wolken, leise, gleichmäßig, eigentlich unglaublich für das Geld!
Die Widerstände sind völlig ausreichend, wir sprechen hier von einem AUSDAUERGERÄT! Ich werde mich wohl bei 4-6 einpendeln. Wer sich nur 10 Minuten Vollgas auspowern möchte, muss sich halt ein Profigerät holen. Natürlich “läuft” ein magnetisches RG anders als eines mit Luft oder Wasser Widerstand, dass muß man wissen und mögen. Mal schauen wie gut es meine 100 kg und tägliche Nutzung verträgt, aber für jeden Normalgewichtigen Fitnesssportler kann ich jetzt schon sagen, dass es den Vergleich mit 2 und 3-fach so teuren RG nicht scheuen muss und einfach Spitze ist!
Das ganze Gerät ist von vorne bis hinten, durchdacht und wertig konstruiert, super verpackt, alles dabei, alle Gewinde und Schrauben sind hochwertig und es ist in 30 Minuten locker aufgebaut.
Ich habe mich während des Aufbaus schon auf das Training gefreut, ich liebe es jetzt schon!

This is my first time to buy a gym equipment from Amazon, because I thought it is very complex to assemble them. But this machine, I have to write a review, because it is worth. the rowing machine is easy to assemble. The instruction is clear and within 30 mins, I start to rowing. There are many resistance level, I can found a comfortable one. And the seat is well too , I already work for several days, and did not feel uncomfortable.
Overall, it is a good product to working out at home.

Im a beginner and i can tell you that the max resistance is pretty mild, its ok to start with something but will be useless on the long run, there are cheaper out there with the same specs , on the good side, its really easy to assemble , sturdy , and can be stored to save space.
i would get a cheaper one with the same resistance level, would be pretty much the same.

To begin, this is a great product. We have been able to do 3 weeks of workouts on the rower. The resistance is pretty good but does not have a really strong resistance if you desire a really hard row.
The size fit us and we are over 6’3”. The screen is decent: it shows time, calories, and distance. It is very easy to assemble and overall a good product.
