After looking over so many brands and models, I finally went with the Foxwell NT710 Chrysler\Dodge.
It took about 5 minutes for registration and software updates before it was ready. It was easy to navigate and took a few short minutes to find what I needed it for.
2016 Dodge Journey SXT, 4 cylinder needed the a Crankshaft Position Sensor replaced. The NT710 found a few issues, but it only took a couple minutes for the crank relearn process.
Afterwards I looked over a few other codes and one I was unfamiliar with. The device connects to your Wi-Fi, and it searched the web and pulled up a list of explanations for the code.
With the price of a tow, a couple local shops fixing the issue of the relearn was between $425-475. Amazon had this NT710 with a coupon code only costing me $277.54.
This saved me time, money and being prepared for future issues.

appears nice. works well. one of my vehicles lost all keyless entry settings while clearing keep alive memory so that teh runner control can recalibrate after replacement. no more worky worky. thanks alot.

I do like how it includes ESfile Explorer, and the scanner does work, I just don’t like the necessary wifi connection for data collection and the UI has several bugs. For example turning all scanned data into PDF and hard wire transferring it. I don’t need email address, VIN #, car info, timestamps, logs, and other info. collected and stored into a hackable system.
Besides that it’s better than the launch bi-directional I had that only lasted 5 scans before shifting the bed. So it’s at least worth 2 stars

Everything started off with me having to contact the company because I couldn’t get it to read the new EGR valve replacement. After staying up late at night (because the company isn’t US based) for them to remotely update the programing I tried to get it to read the EGR replacement and it still didn’t work. I tried to contact them again and STILL HAVEN’T HEARD BACK. I guess I should be grateful that the other programing works.

If you’re looking fir a scam tool to plug into and fix your own car then this is an excellent choice. The tablet is very thin and is very easy to hold on to. The listing indicates that it’s for Chrysler vehicles but this tool is also capable of connecting to most other cars. The unit has a nice touchscreen and a good feel in the hand. The updates with this are almost daily so you’re always using the most current data. I’m super happy with this OBDII scan tool.

Lots of fearires for a good price. You can buy licenses for other makes too. Works good but does lack some explanation of features it has and what all it can really do.
