Although the piece was very complicated my daughter loved it and I’ll be getting another one for her birthday. She loved the process. It came with an instruction booklet that was full of great colour coded pieces. Each large step in the process and the pieces for that step were all in one bag. There were several individual bags for each floor. It’s finished and now on to the next one. This is not one to give to a child unless you are ready to step in and take over….far tooooooo complicated. We loved it for the fact that it has sooooo much detail!!

I was excited to get this but some of the colors are different then what they are supposed to be so some parts look off. And some pieces seemed to be missing so had to use my own to fill it in also, the wires were difficult and some wouldn’t reach as far as they needed too but overall it was alot of fun just hope next time it’s all correct

Excellent quality comparable to Lego. Will blend nicely with the creator Expert collection. We have ordered the log cabin and camper the complete the set.

This build was super fun! Lots of cute little details from a frying pan cooking into the kitchen to fish roasting on the campfire. I kept turning on the lights while I built it just to find what cool new lighting there was.
The instructions are great, and I LOVED that they put a color-match page – a whole page telling you the actual color vs the printed color. It was super helpful since there are many shades of greens, browns, etc. in this build.
Also comes with tweezers and removal tool – a nice touch.
The only tricky part is the roof- it’s definitely a bit on the finicky side and you will need to take your time putting it on so you don’t break your hard work. The connection between the second floor and furst floor can also be a little squirrely at times, but if it’s just sitting still it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
Long story short: loved the build and my kids love exploring all the tiny details of this build!

Good quality, no one piece missed, has many extra small pieces. The instruction is very detailed and clear. The pieces fit together tighter than Lego, so my 9 year old son sometimes needed help. I also helped to him with the lighting part (actually, I did all lighting). I am very pleased with the result, but if you are buying for a child, keep in mind that they will need your help.

The house is not too hard to build and the instructions are easy to follow. Things snap together well. But at least three major pieces (usually square blocks) are missing from several packs but I contracted the company and they immediately fixed the issue by sending another set and I returned the pieces we didn’t use. Very happy with the company’s customer service and commitment to customers. The build is fun and good for my 7 year old with some help from an adult.

I have completed 6 other fun whole set with little to no trouble. This one is a different story. The boards for base are warped which causes blocks to not stay in or it’s not level, so your build will look like the leaning lakeside. Debating on tearing apart what I have done and sending back. For the money not worth the time and aggravation. Verydisappointed

Extremely happy with how quickly they came and they work! Able to continue with the build so far it’s pretty cool!
Set of lights do not work, reached out to the company in hopes of a replacement lights. Continuing to build around the skipped lighting steps.
I do like that legos will fit with this type of building set. Instructions are easy to follow.

I will be buying more sets from Fun Whole (really, “fun whole”?). I have been a brand loyal building block enthusiast for 40 some years. 90 percent of the sets I have owned have been from one specific brand. I have built two or three of the licensed sets made by the other mainstream brand, but this is the first I have ever purchased from anyone else. I am totally happy with the purchase and will be giving them more business.
The build was detailed and complicated. It took me around 20 or so hours total to build it. I did struggle with one of the sets of lights and caused it not to work. I started using a needle file to take the edges off of some of the bricks to make a pathway for the wires, and didn’t have any further issues. The model in general is a 10 out of 10 for detail, originality, and overall awesomeness.
While there were no missing parts, I did find that two were in a bag that had been completed previously. The instructions were a little tough some times. The darker color pieces should have white outlines rather than black to make the pieces easier to differentiate. Also, there were two steps that could have been made much earlier, and some of the steps could have been included with others. 9 of 10 for packaging and instructions.
In total, this was a great set and I would highly recommend Fun Whole’s ( still, smh) products.
