John R. –
The case has an aluminum rim with a male and female track that must align to close. I received it with the rim already bent out of shape. The aluminum is so soft that I was able to bend it back with my fingers. The case does not seem sturdy enough to transport a valuable guitar. Overall cheap construction for the price. I returned it.

For the size I think this is pretty lightweight. The handle isn’t padded, but I like how it is off center, so it balances out the weight better. The lining is very nice and soft, however I can find places where it seems glued together, so could be better. Seems like a plastic and seems good enough to work.
PhdatMIT –
My ultra-Stratocaster fits perfectly in it. petty of room for extras. Well-made and can take a beating. You can’t beat the price.
B. Miller –
It’s roomy, but not too roomy. Fix my Kramer nicely. It’s also light yet extra protective. I got a great deal on it too. If I need another case I’d definitely buy again.
Heather Danner –
Worth the money!
No worries on a strat bouncing around. The only thing better would be a molded case.

What I like about GHOSTFIRE Rectangular Hard Shell GUITAR CASES and why I keep buying them.
I’ve been planning to write a review for a couple of months, but i spent most of the time filming and editing some video to show how nice they really are. But when it came time to do the review, I realized the best thing to do is just itemize the feature I like, so here goes:
Here’s the general features I like:
A. rugged, stylized plastic exterior with slightly rounded corners; classic black
B. tough, aluminum-alloy fixtures and perimeter-trim with triple latches and double locks;
C. and of course, that interior! YO! That interior! …is hyper-plush, medium gray, furry lining on inch/plus, foam cushion. Yes, soft, fluffy fur.
● That medium gray interior hilights guitars of every color.
● The carrying handle is sturdy, balanced, and comfortable.
● The necks have full-length support with no lip at either end to minimize the protection.
● The tail end of the guitar is cradled in a curved contour at one end of the case.
● The lid closes over the guitars with cushioned firmness to prevent excessive jostling around.
● Two cubbys, one on each side of the neck, are EACH big enough for the following:
– a folding guitar stand.
– one or more effect boxes.
– cable|picks|strings|tools|parts|notes|strap|etc…
– all is held in place by the closed case lid.
– I put the little stuff in those small Amazon boxes and put those in the case.
● The headstock space is all the way across for various needs. I loosely wrap my headstock with my strap, and keep my overflow in that excess room.
● GHOSTFIRE is the coolest brandname I know of. For me, that is another feature.
SPECIAL NOTE: The videos I submitted here, show the cases with interior magnetic induction lighting. The cases do NOT come that way. I did that on my own. I’m sure the Seller would have to raise the price to make the cases with that feature.
Chuck from Chicago –
This is the second case from Ghostfire I have bought. A good case for the money!
T. Taylor –
Flew from Boston to Malawi with 3 connecting flights and the case as well as the guitar were undamaged. There were two concerns:
1. The clasps on the case were on the loose side so I locked the case for fear it might open;
2. The guitar neck had slipped slightly out of place which surprised me.
Given that this is a “universal” case, it did not exactly fit my older Epiphone Les Paul such tat, if I were to fly with it again, I would pack some bubble wrap with the guitar
