Giesee Sun Tan Overnight Self Tanning Lotion

I have been using this consistently for a couple years now and it is hands down the best tanner I’ve used. I wish for a bit more moisture but that’s easily fixed by blending it with my regular moisturizer or applying my lotion afterward. This is also one of few tanners that does not give me some sort of breakout after regular usage. My ONLY complaint is that in the two years I have been ordering this product, my last order went up $5 per bottle, from the same seller.

I’ve been using this stuff for a few years and I can’t recommend it enough! I’m naturally very pale and found that most self-tanners looked fake on me, but not this. After using it in the past, I’ve had multiple people comment that I looked like I just returned from the beach! I typically use this for special occasions (weddings, etc.) or during the summer as a safer and faster alternative to laying outside.

I apply at night after putting on a bit of moisturizer, focusing mostly on my knees, ankles, elbows, palms, and face. I wear the gloves and mitt that were included with my purchase, and apply the lotion all over – you may need to enlist some help to ensure your back is evenly covered! Sometimes I apply a second layer to the areas I’d like to be a little darker (shoulders, areas of my face that I would normally contour, etc.). After covering the rest of my body, I remove the gloves and mitt, then pump a small amount of lotion onto the back of one hand. Then, I rub the backs of my hands/fingers together to ensure they are covered evenly (I also touch up my wrists if needed). This ensures that my hands match the rest of my body while avoiding the dreaded orange palm look. I wait 10-20 minutes before putting on clothes and getting into bed, and I have not had any issues with staining on my clothes or sheets. If you’re pale like me, you’ll look a little crazy until you rinse off the bronzer the next day, but it’s all worth it. I’ve found that even when my initial application seemed a bit streaky, the final outcome was a very even and natural looking tan that faded naturally over a period of 4-5 days. Just make sure to moisturize at least once a day!

If I could give 0 stars I would. So disappointed and embarrassed! Basicly this is a skin tint that washes off.
I am very pale, and unable to tan naturally. My favorite brand is no longer available, so I decided, with all the good reviews, I would try this Sun one. With my extensive experience, having tried several sunless product over the past 20 years, I was aware how important it is to be extremely careful to expholiate and moisturize, and blend as to not incite any unwanted blotchyness or lines (as me how I know this-smacks forehead!).
I applied the product evenly with the given glove (which was wonderful btw the only thing positive about this product) and was beyond thrilled with what I saw. Couldn’t wait to wake up and see the reported “deeper results” after three hours. And 8 hours after sleeping, it was beautiful… until I washed my hands and half the color came off them. I was heading to the gym, so I quickly washed all over (more color came off); I wanted to make sure I wasn’t having that all over my gym towel. However, after removing a great deal of color before I left, confident I had removed it all, 2 hours later- after good sweat, my towel looked like I mopped the dirty floor or had used a gallon of foundation! I was horrified! And beginning to look paler and paler as the day wore on! Not even 24 hours after applying, I sit here as pale as I started, and extremely embarrassed by the whole ordeal at the gym!

I have been using this product for a while and I just love it. You can see where you are applying the product and it gives you such a lovely tan. The smell of the product is wonderful, I have a problem with tanning products and the smell. But this product gets a 5 star for everything. Since I found this product I will not use any other. I buy this from Amazon all the time. I have used many tanning products in the past either they come on where you can’t see where you applied it or the smell is so bad you cannot wait till it dries,or it streaks or it is not a nice color for your skin tone. This product has all the positives in one bottle. I encourage others to try it.
