Have a cat with cardiomyopathy who needs medication daily. The medication he is on is extremely bitter tasting. Can’t guarantee he’ll eat all his food if crushed in his food and I have another cat who doesn’t need the med.
So I turned to pill pockets. He’s still not thrilled about being pilled and always has a lot to say about it but I think he secretly likes the after taste with the pill pocket. The daily event is not as stressful with the pill pockets so I’ll keep using them. He does seem to prefer the chicken flavor.

My cat is difficult when it comes to medicine, I tried crushing it into his wet food, opening his mouth and feeding it to him, and even hiding it among dry food. But he could smell or taste the medicine hidden in all the treats. These pill pockets make it so easy to hide the pill and he seems to really enjoy eating them. The only thing I’d like to highlight if you’re unfamiliar with the product as I was is these treats are like playdough or clay in the sense that they’re malleable and you put the pill in the pocket and mold it around the pill. Makes it easy to hide pills of all sizes but also you should be careful where you store them because they can get crushed or smushed easily.

If your cat doesn’t chew, these are a near foolproof method for pill delivery. Especially if someone else is watching your pill dependent, hyper food motivated, medication avoidant animal.

I’m sure these aren’t exactly “healthy” for a cat but it sure does the job when it comes time to give them pills or medication. I can stuff a whole pill between two pieces of greenies and my cat will down it whole. I can also empty powder into the cavity and mush it together and he doesn’t even notice. The cats practically bite my fingers off trying to get to the treats. As I said, I wouldn’t necessarily make these a go to treat but they’re highly effective at masking any hint of medicine or at least they taste so good the cats could care less so I always keep a stash in case I need it.

I ordered 2 different flavours in addition to the one I have ordered before as my cat wouldn’t eat it, and unfortunately he still shows no interest in any of these wraps. And I had very high hopes for them as I was hoping I would manage to give his pills using these wraps. There is no guarantee that cats will like them, and the only way to know is to buy and try it. We have 4 cats and only 1 cat out of 4 didn’t mind all 3 flavors, other 3 cats didn’t even look at them. Also the item was packed inappropriately and pill wraps came smashed and majority of them got stuck to each other and they looked nothing like in the picture.

This is the best thingnive ever bought for my cat. Ginger is a finicky eater and extremely sensitive to meds. I’ve always struggled to give Ginger her meds, but this Greenies Pill pockets have been a God send. The pill pockets are soft and mouldable so it is very easy to hide a tablet in it. If the tablet is too big, I wither break it into 2 or I use 2 of these pill pockets. They are soft and so very easy to mesh 2 together and then stuff the tablet in it. Ginger gobbles it down in flash!
Wish I had discovered this much earlier!
