Love this simple toy which is sturdy and will provide hours of fun for my grandson. Hitting the balls to provide a slide down the musical scale is genius! Also love that the xylophone slides out easily. So many toys seem to result in sensory overload, but this toy allows for simple cause and effect with musical stimulation. I love this as an option for my grandson!

My son loves this product very much. The idea of hammering balls and creating music is exactly what kids love. My son was able to quickly understand how to place the balls on the board and hammer them. He also knew how to use the tool for the xylophone.

For a niece or nephew. I bought this for my 2 year nephew and he loves it. His 5 year old brother also plays with it. My sister gets children that learn dexterity, hammering skills, and music appreciation. She has even gotten bathroom concerts.

My husband purchased this as a Christmas gift for my then 10 month old daughter. She has shape sorting toys but isn’t quite big enough to comprehend those yet. This toy allowed her to learn a couple of motor skills, such as pushing the balls through the holes with her hands and clanking two together to make a noise. This may sound silly but the rubber piece that holds the balls into place prevents the balls from falling through obviously so she has time to make the connection that they need force to move. With the toy being wooden it is sturdy enough for her to safely lean on as well. She also pulls the musical piece underneath out on her own now and taps it. I love that she still has time to grow with this to learn how to use the rubber mallet to play music and tap the balls as well. There isn’t too much going on with this, no crazy extra noises or distractions. It’s a quality gift that will last until we are done having children.

Heute wurde Elsa zum einjährigen Geburtstag mit dem kombinierten Xylophon / Hammerspiel beschenkt.
Beides lässt sich kombiniert bedienen, einfach die Kugeln reinhämmern und die sorgen dann für eine Tonfolge auf dem Xylophon oder das Xylophon herausnehmen und mittels Schlegel „bearbeiten“.
Eigentlich eine komische Paarung, ein Musikinstrument mit einem Hammerspiel zu kombinieren aber es ist bei der Beschenkten sehr gut angekommen.
Alle Materialien sind kindgerecht verarbeitet ohne lose Kleinteile und absolut geruchsfrei.
Seltsame Kombi aber trotzdem empfehlenswert.

This is amazing. So well thought out. Toddlers love it! The mallet head is rubberized, so it doesn’t make a terribly loud noise but is still fun for the child. The inner rings of the ball placement holes are also rubberized to hold them in place when the child is hitting them. The ring of color around each hole matches the corresponding ball which creates an opportunity for color matching. All edges are nicely rounded and the finishes/ paint seem durable. The xylophone is good quality and fun! (The adults in the house have been playing with it as much as the children.) It comes with a book of beginner songs to practice, which is awesome!
