I bought these shelves to fit in a cabinet for networking equipment to sit on. I like the holes for ventilation and the metal for heat dissipation. They are sturdy and hold the equipment well.
Putting them together was a bit of a struggle. One shelf didn’t have instructions at all, and the single sheet in the other was basically useless. Some minor trial and error and I figured it out. All except the horizontal support bar. I’m not sure if it is supposed to lock and prevent horizontal shifts, but mine do not.
The other issue is that when the shelves are closed fully (horizontally), the metal ends run into the leg connector and bend a little bit. I straightened it out with pliers, and mine is hidden in a cabinet. I don’t think I would recommend these for a visible installation

This thing is money!!!!! It is so strong, I’m using it in my pantry, but I feel like I could use it in my garage. However, I thought ordered a shelf not an erector set! It did require some assembly and took a few minutes to put together before use. Aka it took my husband a few minutes. I am obsessed with how easy it is to shorten/lengthen. Also, it glides to extend to any length, not those pre set holes that click to extend. The height adjustment is also a bonus.

I absolutely love these shelves. I did end up moving the counter one back to the pantry but they gave us so much more versatility in a small space. They are super rugged and can adjust in height for what you need. Eventually I’ll get another one because they are completely worth the money.

I will say pay attention to the legs as they were not welded properly, causing some to be crooked and not sit flush. Looks good otherwise and mostly worth the money. Can use them in many different locations. Not bulky or wobbly. Shipped on time, worth the buy.
