This bed is perfect for my cat. She’s elderly, and has some arthritis. She roasts herself in this heated nest all day every day. It’s deep enough she can burrow down into it, or flop against the sides. It’s very cozy, and never gets too hot. The pad comes out so you can clean the outside.
Edited to add that my cat loved this bed so much I bought a second one for her sister. They are obsessed with these warm, cozy beds.

Get the cat the bed, they will love it. Bengal cat at 17lbs makes it fit and even the 7lb smaller cat in her own. Got one and the other cat would steal it. They just need to sell the covers for replacement.
It does flop but both cats love that, they seem to ease end to bending the sides for max flexibility. When you readjust the sides anytime. These are washable too, you remove the heater part and toss in the wash and dryer.

This bed is cozy and easy to clean. The exterior pattern on the fabric is awful looking (it looks like a very bad distressed faux leather? Not really sure what the look they were going for here; I would suggest sticking to just sold colors) however you can completely fold the sizes over so you can eliminate the 80’s vibe. The interior fleece fabric while soft, appears to be the cheapest quality fleece. If your cat likes to make biscuits this fleece pulls easily even with trimmed nails; even just vacuuming it gently some of the fibers pulled. Unfortunately this bed will look old and worn quickly. Also the large rubbery brand tag is also unnecessary. That being said, our geriatric cat spends most of the time in this bed so the cat gives a 5 star rating and the humans give a 3.5.

My small elderly chihuahua has no complaints. She likes the heat for her sore hips. My only thing is I wish it was alittle bigger( maybe I missed the sizing idk) to accommodate her blanket alittle better. Soft, warm and comfy.

I never read reviews, but should. Several people mentioned what I noticed, which is that the sides are very floppy and don’t stay up. My 19-year-old cat can’t really figure out how to get in it when the sides are folded over. And since the sides aren’t heated, it doesnt work as well when he sleeps on top of the folded sides. Even with that, I’m still giving it a 4 and not returning it because my cat loves it! I put cardboard on the sides hoping to “train” it to stay up.

I got this for an old frail cat. I wanted soft flexible sides and a washable product. Daisy has used it every day for a couple weeks and she evidently loves it. It is a gentle warmth, nice long cord, well-padded, easy to removed the heating pad. Definitely recommend the product.
