I’ve wanted one of these for a while. I’m a slow coffee drinker, I travel a lot and I don’t have a way to heat water at work besides the microwave. This solved all of that. I can keep my coffee hot for hours at home or work. I can keep coffee or tea hot while I travel as long as I have an outlet. I can make boiling hot water for Ramen at work (because we all know microwave hot water is only hot for a few seconds). This has 4 heat setting (113, 131, 176 and 212 F) and is so easy to use. Plug it in and set the temperature. My water was up to 120 F in seconds from room temperature. It was boiling after a couple of minutes and stayed hot for hours. I left it overnight plugged in and my water was still hot the next morning! Once you turn if off or unplug it, the temperature will start dropping. The touch button is very sensitive so it’s too easy to change the temp by accident. It has a little handle that makes it easy to carry and came with a velvety pouch to store it and the cord. Love it!

I recommend it to anyone who, like me, always prefers a hot drink. This looks like a tumbler, but it is a portable kettle. This would take up less space in my travel bag and I can store the power cable inside. Of course, you can also boil water right away when you are usually at home, or when you sneak a cup of noodles in the middle of the night when your family is asleep. It’s also handy when you want a cup of tea or hot cereal drink for one person.
It can also be used when you want to drink herbal tea for one person at the office or when staying at a hotel.
You can also choose from four different temperatures for the hot water. You can also heat milk. You can monitor the temperature of the water so you know how soon it will be done. One thing to note is that, as it says on the lid, steam comes out of the exhaust port on the lid, so be careful. Also, after boiling water, it is a good idea to unplug the cable from both sides before opening the lid. This will prevent accidents such as unexpectedly snagging the cable and spilling boiling water.

As another reviewer noted, the photos have been edited to suggest that a power cord is not needed to use this kettle. That is NOT the case. That’s not inherently a bad thing, and the kettle itself works well, but I did get it thinking that I’d be able to take it with me to outdoor events and use it to heat up tea so I’d have a fresh, hot drink to keep me warm during the cooler months. Not the case. I have to either track down an outlet, or heat the water before I go, which is not at all what I was hoping for. If this had been a chargeable kettle, that would have been absolutely perfect. It’s good for what it is, but not what I was hoping for / led to believe by the listing.
