My cats are getting older and have started to show signs of aging… Walking slower up the steps, tender hips, etc. I’ve been trying to find some type of joint supplement to help maintain their joints or even improve them. I thought I’d give this product a try since it says “all natural Beef flavor cats love”. I tried first mixing it into some of their wet food but they just smelled it and walked away. They wouldn’t eat it. I thought maybe if I bought a little syringe I could just kind of force feed it to my one cat that I am more worried about (& also the one who is easier to handle and stuff). The first few days, I was able to give it to her pretty gently without a problem. Each time she’d immediately jump up and run off and shake her head. It kind of freaked me out but I told myself to just give it a few days or weeks and she’d get used to the taste. However, as the days went on, she’d recognize the bottle or the oral syringe, and take off and get very stressed. I decided to stop using it because I don’t want to stress her out, I just want to help her. I’ve tried a few other fish oils and similar products on Amazon.. No luck yet. 🙁

My cat, Lady, is about 20 years old. I could tell that her joints have been hurting her, and in the last 5-6 months, she hasn’t been able to jump very well. I’ve had to get her some stairs to be able to get up on the beds in the house. Before I did that, she made a few jumps where she fell because she couldn’t quite make it. She’s had no problems grooming herself, thankfully. It just seems to be her hips and knees that are the problem.
Almost immediately after starting her regimen, she’s made a 180. She’s still leery of jumping, but she is moving so much better, and I can tell that she is in a lot less pain. Also, she’s put on at least full pound since taking the liquid. The change in her has been nigh on miraculous! Words cannot express how happy I am that Lady is feeling so much better.
I would encourage anyone with a older kitty to give this stuff a go. When I read the other glowing reviews, I was a little skeptical of the lofty claims of the other reviewers. They were all totally right.

My 15-year-old kitty was constantly licking her lower legs, to the point of major hair loss. Thinking this was probably pain from arthritis, I tried another product in the form of a capsule, but she would not accept it when it was sprinkled on her food, and when I gave her the pill to swallow, she would throw up. I decided to try the Nodens because it was a liquid I could give directly into her mouth. I have had no trouble giving her this, and she actually seems to like it. After 10 days of giving this, she has completely stopped the licking and the hair on her legs is regrowing. I think this must mean the pain is gone. The only thing I notice is that she is sleeping more during the day. If this side effect does not go away, I may try reducing the dose. Would definitely recommend this medication.

It has a strong odour of Soy Sauce. Cat walked away from his food no matter how little i put in his food. Do NOT recommend unless you pet loves the smell of soy sauce. Id give it 0 stars if i could.

To make a long story a tad shorter, my cat had hip surgery at a young age due to a femoral head health issue. The vet told me he could develop arthritis at a younger age because of it and recommended to give him joint supplements early. He is a really picky eater so its been tough finding him a supplement he likes. I ended up coming across this and read the reviews and decided to give it a try. Im not kidding when I say this, its almost a night and day difference. My cat before was always a loveable and happy cat but he doesnt normally jump up on their cat tower or get too adventurous doing that sort of thing. Within just a couple of DAYS of giving him the recommended dosage in his food, I notice hes jumping to the top of the cat tower, and on top of that acts more loveable and seems more happy! Im truly amazed at this product and will absolutely continue to use it. Im so glad I came across it and 100% recommend giving it a try!

Just got this for my wild child who loves to climb and recently missed her perch. No big injury but it slowed her down for now. Don’t know how well this is going to work yet, but half the battle is getting your cat to take the stuff. She refused Cousequin treats. However, one of her favorite treats is the Hartz Delectables Squeeze Ups. They are little tubes of a very creamy puree in Chicken or Tuna. They are only .5 oz. but it is a perfect amount to mix in the recommended dose. I use a flat ceramic saucer from a coffee cup. The puree is thick enough to squeeze out a small circle to contain the dose. I use the tip of the blade from a small paring knife to completely mix the two together. I use the knife so as not to waste any of either on a spoon. I use the ceramic dish instead of her usual paper bowls so she gets the complete dose and none is absorbed into the paper bowl. She cleans the saucer completely and doesn’t suspect a thing! I did first try to get her to lick up the dose by itself. She tried it, but it wasn’t appealing enough for her to finish it. Squirting it into her mouth is a struggle and she is a mind reader so even thinking about getting medication into her sends her running. Hope this stuff helps her, but like I said, getting a cat to take medication is always a challenge and this method worked like a charm. No stress for me or my cat! By the way, Squeeze Ups are available on Amazon (32 tubes for $18). As a treat, they are kind of pricey for the amount in each tube, but for this use I think it’s well worth the money.
