No more bloating due to vegan protein.
It doesn’t mix so well for me unfortunately. Taste is okay.

Loved this protein in college. It would digest immediately and give me lots of energy and I packed on a TON of muscle and wasn’t bloated in the process. Bear in mind this is pea protein and doesn’t have a super awesome taste. I would put it in a fruit/spinach smoothie. It tastes a little worse than an unflavored greens powder. Honestly I got used to stomaching it and it’s not so terrible but if you are looking for a plant based powder you can drink on it’s own this is NOT it. I got this at the time because I was vegan. However, if whey tends to hurt your stomach or you feel bloated, this will work regardless of your diet. You also get A TON of servings in here for the price.

I think itโ€™s a good flavor. I take one scoop with one cup of almond milk, and one cup of strawberries and blend. I was prepared for a chalky texture. The blended taste is really good. I donโ€™t notice chalkiness but I blend it well. The blended product tastes similar to brownies.

Quality seems good. Protein count is 24 grams. I havenโ€™t had stomach pains with this product.

This is great, I love the taste however ONE serving has 25% of the daily recommended sodium intake which is considerably high. Sodium isnโ€™t bad, but too much sodium is hard on your kidneys, dehydrates your organs and makes you bloat. Because of the high sodium intake I only use half the serving size, in my coffee along with a different protein shake brand later in the day (with lower sodium)

After reading many many reviews on this I decided to buy it. People said they did liked the flavor. Itโ€™s amazing what the American public will eat .๐Ÿ˜ณ
I felt it was absolutely dreadful.๐Ÿ˜ฉ it taste like canned peas. ๐ŸคฎI found a Pea protein by Metagenics this is absolutely delicious see my picture above. Itโ€™s expensive and hard to get your hands on so I thought this would be a good alternative.
Looks like my search is still on!

The pea protein makes a denser more moist baked item.
I only use pea protein for baking. There really is a difference when you use pea protein. If you use whey protein powders (like in baked oats) those baked items are very dry.
Be sure to use pea protein when baking!

I’ve used protein powders for ~5 years now and vegan protein sources for ~3 years. I started off with Orgain and Vega and have tried countless brands until stumbling across this one on Amazon. It has got to be one of the smoothest, least bloating vegan protein powders I have ever tried. Why I like it:

    1) no filler ingredients. Pea protein isolate and cocoa powder are the top two ingredients. The rest seem to be some salt, some for of stevia, and xantham gum (a very common stabilizer used in foods). I’m pretty sure this is also why the protein doesn’t cause me to bloat.
    2) taste. This is not cocoa pebbles so don’t expect something sugary and sweet. However, the cocoa has a nice subtle chocolatey note to it. It’s not overwhelming or nauseating.
    3) Price. Vegan proteins are expenssiiiiive. Orgain and Vega were just not worth the price for me. This is relatively reasonable for the quantity and number of servings.

Protein is great but clean up each time because the powder is scattering all over the kitchen… not so much.

My review is strictly based on the taste and texture of the product.

I tried this product as a cheaper alternative to a similar product I use and enjoy. I started with the unflavored Now Pea Protein to save a few bucks and it was gross. I saw the reviews for Dutch Chocolate flavor so I thought I would give it a try. It also tastes bad and is very chalky. I tried both flavors by themselves and they were really bad. I mixed them with peanut butter, bananas, honey, and ice and it still tasted bad. It is very gritty and chalky. It’s hard to keep down. I never could finish more then 2-3 sips of every variation I tried. I am not sure what other types of tastes the other reviewers are used to but I can’t drink this stuff.

Even if I was able to find a sweetener that would make this product taste like bacon I would not be able to drink it because of the texture. It makes me gag.

I am very disappointed with this product. I have two 2lbs containers of this stuff in my pantry that I will not use. If you are considering this product as a cheaper alternative to another product then keep looking. If taste is important to you then keep looking. If you are used to protein shakes that taste terrible and are chalky then this is a good product. It had good protein.
