I’ve only had this product for a day now, but compared to my old model, which was 12 years old it has a lot of bells and whistles. I enjoy the Bluetooth technology, ability to link to my phone. Nice way to keep track of my blood pressure. I would recommend. The only thing I’m worried about is the Velcro. It doesn’t seem to grab as nice as my older OMRON band. This could be a problem. I would still recommend this product.

Comfortable and super easy to use. I’ve compared it to other monitors and it’s accurate too. I was part of a study group in a research hospital. Omron was the brand they recommended for accuracy and longevity.

My doc has me taking my BP every other day. I bought this Onron because it is cheap(er), and is supposed to be pretty accurate.

We’ve checked my machine against both her $1,000 pro model and a manual BP cuff. It is consistently within a few percent at worst. It is easy and almost intuitive to use, and I’ve not had the connectivity issues others have mentioned.

I thought I’d lost it and bought another. I subsequently found the first. Now one is on my desk and the other goes with me on trips.

I wanted a change in a BP monitor. I received same on March 6/22 and began to use immediately. Almost every time I used I was not able to complete the process because the reading continued to show Error Message. I called Omron and talked to a technician and the tech suggested I buy new Alkaline batteries to replace those in the purchased package. Changing the batteries made no change in Error readings. I contacted the Tech again on the next day and advised that the change of batteries made no difference. The tech suggested that a member of my family, in this case my wife, try to retain a reading. Her attempt to obtain a reading was the same as mine. I would rather have my purchase repaid. I have two Omron arm monitors that are giving me problems also that I own and both provide the same type of
final reading that I found with the Gold model although I work around that by putting increased pressure on the arm straps and it helps sometimes.

    We are loving this device.
We’ve been using it for around three months and are very happy with it.
Two people can use it and it synchronizes the result with Apple’s Health App, which for us is a must-have.
It is very easy to use and is able to get our blood pressure with very good precision, compared to another device we have (arm fit).

Great product, didn’t like the fact that it won’t work unless you download the app, and put your personal information on line.

I’ve recently had heart issues so my doc recommends that I take my blood pressure frequently to stay on top of things. I like how small and portable this cuff is. I tend to take my blood pressure more often because I can keep this where I need it without it taking up too much room or looking out of place.

I found the cuff hard to get used to, since in the past I’ve only used the upper arm style cuff. You need to read the directions and follow them closely to get accurate results. If I deviate from the instructions, I’ve found the cuff gives some wild readings. However it is very accurate used correctly and matches the readings I get at my docs office.

I like the companion app that it works with… it makes it easy to track my readings so I can give an accurate report to my doctor at each appointment.

I have an Omron BP652 cuff purchased ten years ago. I misplaced it and decided to buy this ‘upgrade’ rather than waste time and frustration looking for my old cuff.

Instead, I wasted about 75 bucks and bought hours of frustration and a device I’ll toss in a drawer and hope to forget. First off, the instructions say to get the app, pair with bluetooth, and it will set the time and date on its own. Although I had no intention of using an app and phone to take my BP, I did as instructed… or tried.

After nearly an hour of failed attempts to pair the device, it finally linked with the app. However, it did not set the date and time. I tried to det the date and time manually. Fail.

Ah then, now to take a reading. Over and over and over again, I get ‘E4’ — I supposedly moved. Well no, I did not move, other than to breathe. Tried over and over again. ‘E4.’

Evidently this device will only read your blood pressure after you’ve ceased breathing.

After two hours of futility, I went searching for my old BP652. Found it. Still works. No, it doesn’t have all the buzzers and bells. Yes, it whirs when the cuff inflates… big whoop. It also will not send my medical info to a hacker in China.

Save your do re mi. Don’t run your blood pressure up messing with this ridiculously user unfriendly device. I’m just as fed up as one can be over an inexpensive little electronic appliance. I’ll either try to return it — still more hassle I had not bargained for — or just take a mallet to the thing and dump it, which would be a lot more gratifying.

ADDENDUM: Just try to return this item. You will be given three options — ‘troubleshoot it yourself,’ waste your time with online support from amazon, or waste your time with online support from the manufacturer. I’d rather eat a bowl of ground glass than jump through those hoops, thanks. If the product is this difficult to use, the product shouldn’t be on the market for home use. I’ll eat the purchase price and chalk it up to experience.

I bought this one, cos they have this at Lens Crafters. And it works really well. Always accurate. I tried it twice yesterday. I like it! But I put Energizer Lithium batteries in it so it’ll last a long time. Highly recommend over other cheap brands.

I bought this BP monitor about a year ago and wanted to see how it performs before I write a review. Now that I’ve had it for a while, I can report that it has exceeded my expectations, considering that had bought cheaper ones in the past.

My doctor was willing to indulge me and compare this one with his office BP monitor and I was very happy with the results which were comparably accurate. I noticed that some people reported that it was inaccurate which baffles me and it is possible that it may not be making proper contact with the wrist.

The wrist band should always be placed snug just above the protruding wrist bone (pisiform bone). Inaccurate and erratic BP readings occur often when the wrist band is in the wrong position.

This device is easy to use and, since I take my readings twice a day, I find myself replacing batteries about every 4-5 months. Not bad at all. I even contacted the company to assist in registering the warranty and they were very helpful.

This was definitely worth paying a bit more for.

The band fits a larger wrist. The little heart on the screen that lets the user know they have their arm at the correct level is very helpful to ensure accurate readings. The monitor readings were compared to the physician office and matched.

It comes with a hardshell case! Amazon sells an extra case as a bundle, it’s _not_ needed.
It works, the bluetooth works, and I hate the app(as expected). Many will not object it functions OK.
I don’t remove a star for the app SNAFU, it’s par for the course.

It might run a tad high, it could be the app raising the ‘not-fun’ pressure too 😉
It’s a bit pricey but I/we already knew that. I do not regret my purchase.
I have good experience with omron products in the past and this is as expected so far.

    YMMV
