This stand is very sturdy, and the fact that it has a 5/8 connector means you can attach all sort of accessories to it.
Was able to attach boom arm to it, so it could hold my mic closer to my mouth when I’m sitting.
It’s a very sturdy stand, you can even make it point a bit forward by adjusting the legs (if you do it too much it will tilt and fall though).
If you just let you mic sit straight on top. The stand is very sturdy, it’s a bit heavy, but that helps it so it doesn’t tilt easily.

Every one of these fails in the same way – the tightening thumb screw that holds the legs out, strips and you have to duct tape the base to hold it up. They last for a while, then fail on the job – every one of them.

I keep buying them because they fold up and fit in a very clever Gator mic bag. But they all fail the same way – even when I learned to not overtighten. Time for them to try a new engineering concept!

UPDATE: Just bought my 3rd one. They all seem to be the same, so here I go again – same model. It’ll last a couple years or so.

Hey guys – I’d gladly pay a few more bucks and get one with a heavy duty set-screw on the base ,-\

I’m using a pair of these to hold a pair of small “Kustom” stage monitor speakers, and they are perfect for this, very sturdy, very stable. All in all a good product at a good price. Very pleased.

OnStage es la marca de stands que mejor me ha funcionado. Resistentes, bien hechos y a la vez ligeros.
Este stand cumple sin problemas su función.

I bought this stand along with an adapter for a mixer that I screw on the top of it. Its much more sturdy to use a tripod vs a round bottom stand. I would be fearful that the mixer would make it too top heavy and tip over. Very well made stand. It retracts at the feet and the stand itself so its smaller for storing when you’re not using it.

Good mic stand! Does the job and can be easily packed up for a gig. I mostly use this for home recording, but it is very nice to be able to use this and move it around. The adjustable height is also useful for various heights.

I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars for two reasons. The first is that the three legs of the tripod are a bit wobbly, even when the screw is the tightest you can make it. It’s not too bad, but it’s noticeable especially if you accidentally knock into it when recording or if have an Acoustic Shield and a mic on top of it. With heavier objects, the legs become a bit questionable. The second is that the 3 legs lock into place. There becomes a few scuff marks on those legs the more you lock it into place and unlock it. The scuff marks were noticeable after the first lock/unlock.

Other than those two things, the mic stand does its job! And at a pretty decent price too!

This stand works great with the Moog Etherwave Theremin and the Moog Etherwave Plus.

Other than having a second breakdown point for portability, this is a simple but outstanding design. Tall, sturdy, likely everything you’ll need it to be.

This mic stand is way better than i expect it to be, for beginners trying to create a home studio like me and is looking for a mic stand should definitely go for it, I use it on my mic Rode NT1 A and I’m really happy for the stand being so sturdy.. Overall it’s a 5 star from me, delivery was right on time and I want to give shout out to Amazon for choosing their delivery boy/girl wisely, they are really polite and nice to talk to..
