Panasonic Electric Food Processor With 5 Attachments

Super easy to use. Bought to replace my very old processor. Summer garden is abundant and all the features have been used and work flawlessly. The price was excellent and the unit is very heavy duty.

I have had a number of food processors over the years, but never one as large as this with as many cool features. The first thing to know is the large size of the main processor bowl. It’s almost a gallon in size meaning you can get a lot of stuff in there. I found in my work this week. It was easy to get several pounds of chicken breast in to cut it into micro pieces for a dip. It’s easy to remove the bowl with a quick flip of the handle. I also like the ingenious method by which latching the bowl into place activates the motor. in this way, the motor cannot be activated if the bowl is removed. Genius! Another cute feature is the suction cups on the bottom which you can see in my picture. What a great idea to help keep the device stable and in position during mixing processes. The item is a little bit lighter weight than I might expect, this comes from a largely plastic shell and frame. There is not much stainless steel used in this product. But that’s OK, because it is engineered quite well. Fit and finish is very good as you would expect from Panasonic product. The included attachments and accessories are also very good. I like the multiple different shaving knives which are included, along with a handy housing to hold them in. The main blade itself is fairly standard, but looks to be easy enough to sharpen with a standard kitchen, knife sharpener. The pulsing control on the operation knob is also appreciated. It’s much easier to get a good pulse with a knob then by a simple button press. There is enough resistance in the counterclockwise turning of the knob to allow you to feel how much force will be used in the pulse.

If there was any complaint, it’s the typical one you find for food processors. They are difficult to clean up. But I was fortunate to find that all of the attachments, the bowl and accessories are all dishwasher safe. So I simply tossed everything except for the unit itself and the dishwasher and they came out sparkling clean for next to use.

I don’t know how well known Panasonic is in the food processor space, but this is certainly a worthy entry. I look forward to seeing what other prep gadgets they may come up with. Highly recommended.

I just made a pesto using it, so far so good.
I like it and it’s pretty powerful and a great price

It would take forever attempts to lock in the jar to be able to turn it on, and after power was on sometimes it would stop because it is not potent enough to work on a carrot for example. Very disappointed, unfortunately.
