Very nice DVD player with the 10.5” screen. It makes long trips for my 2 year old alot easier. We primarily use the hdmi input and play movies we have purchased through iTunes or from Netflix and Amazon Prime videos and stream them directly from my iPhone or iPad to the screen. My sons favorite thing is using is casting videos from YouTube to the screen.

I bought 2 of these because I was tired of swapping them in and out of cars for trips. I am so glad that I did, the mounting bracket on the player is very easy to install and ingenious because it uses what is already in the car, the headrest posts. (I was using a velcro strap that went around the headrest with 2 metal holders). It is also made to fit different widths of headrest posts which is nice. The player detaches from the mount so you are not fighting with it during installation. The DVD player itself is an upgrade from what we had before (Pyle PDV101BK) and the design is better as well because it is self contained – meaning there is no flip down screen. This DVD player has a remote and buttons on the front of the DVD player integrated into the screen that can be used which is nice because our old one you had to fold down the screen to access the buttons. A nice feature that I like about this model is the screen protector that you put over the screen when not in use, it has a strip of velcro at the top that holds it up when not in use and easily folds down when in use. Picture quality is very good and DVD loads at the top which makes it easy for my young son to change DVDs on his own. We have used this a number of hours since we bought it and it is working great, sound has been good too. The only thing that I have found that is a little inconvenient is when my son disconnected his headphones from the side where the jack is (right side), you can not see the inputs without opening the door, which we could not do until we stopped (nothing to discount the quality for). Overall, I am very happy about this purchase and it has lived up to the Pyle brand.

I actually got the “Used Very Good” and I got what you’d expect, screen had block spot right in the middle inside the screen, dvds always freeze and skip, even though they’re new. No wonder someone sent it back.

DVD player stopped working 5 months after purchase. Amazon would not accept return and it is now August 1st and Pyle is just asking for my return information.
Would buy from somewhere else.

I liked that this tablet/ DVD player was loaded with so many different functions.I wished it had come with a wall charger. My 6 year old grandson is able to work it and uses it regularly.so far so good.Thank you Be safe and be BLESSED

There are no IR wireless headphones included despite it saying there are in the “what’s in the box” section of the description. I contacted the Pyle company directly and was told this model does not include any. Pyle was confusing to deal with. Amazon, however was extremely helpful and made the situation right.
The player seems fine otherwise. It mounted easily and the picture quality seems adequate. We ended up ordering some other brand of IR headphones and they work fine so far. The Pyle company said headphones may not work. I am glad they do as the less cords the better.

In the beginning, I thought this is going to be another DVD that look the same like my friends have. WRONG! Comparing with other car DVD’s this looks very smooth and the colors are very good and it doesn’t look pixilated. Its looks like 1080P in quality and the 16:9 which cover the whole screen is great. its builded like a tank, and it does not move at all from the head rest. Also, you have a very nice control with so many options. But what caught my attention was the leather cover to secure the screen and protect it. I am like everybody else, I want the best for less, but this one it worth the money even though its seem a little high. That’s because the electronic it’s like a home DVD system and performed just like it. you can hook game console to this thing and use it as a monitor, also save movies as Mp4 and insert the memory and have 30 movies in memory instead of 30 DVD’s all over around… Sometimes I prefer to be in the back seat watching the movies and not driving.

Loving the Pyle DVD thus far. We just got it in the mail yesterday and it didn’t take long to set up in the car. Not many directions were needed but what was instructed didn’t actually say how the DVD gets power. The directions only told you how to plug in a Dual DVD player into the other. It was easy as pie once I figured the 12V plug cord just needed to be plug into the car and imported into the DVD. This could be a common sense action to take but I thought there were other options like a way to charge it in a wall outlet and the car adapter was a second option! We hope this DVD works great for our daughter in the long run! Thus far I would recommend this product!
