I bought the 4 pack the day before & they arrived on time today! I am surprised with how thin they look & feel. However, they are soft Terry cloth on one side & a smooth plastic layer on the underside. It does make a soft “shhh” sound as you move the sheet to fit on the mattress. I can see how the sheet won’t look as if it properly fits due to my children making their own beds. Teaches responsibility as they get older thankfully! I did Ave to go back to make slight adjustments so the top covered the mattress better. I will update how the water proof design holds up with my occasional bed wetter.

This is very thin and soft. I am almost skeptical that it will be waterproof as compared to the other mattress protectors I have. All of that is fine, but one comment I would make is that the protector is not water proof on the sides – so if you kiddo somehow magically hangs one leg off the side of the bed and wets the bed like mine does, you might want another option.

I hate to put bad reviews, so this is just more of an informative review. I usually always read reviews before buying and this time I didn’t. My mistake. I have seen mattress protectors with a terry cloth finish and they are thick and soft and that is what I thought I was getting. This might be a perfectly satisfactory waterproof cover, but I always like a waterproof, soft, thick pad and protector and this is not that at all. Super thin, not at all what I would call terry cloth. Kind of a roughed or textured fabric that is super thin. No nap to it at all. I was very disappointed and will be sending all 3 back that I bought for grandkids beds. Again, probably my fault for not reading reviews and watching the videos. But I also feel it is described as a soft terry and in my opinion, it is not.
