I love the fact that it has a temperature probe and it’s why I bought it. The meat cooks to the setting chosen or very close to it. It’s easy to clean and comes with the grilling rack, which is nice.
My issues with this unit haven’t been mention in reviews that I read or watched, so I’m giving you the cons.
First, the control panel is on the top of the unit. I’m sure if you’re 5’6″ tall or more, you will have no problem seeing the control panel display when the air fryer is on the countertop, so buy it. Unfortunately, even on tippy toes, I can’t see the display and I had to find a place for it that wasn’t as high as the countertop. If I knew this air fryer was difficult to use by folks on the lower end of the normal adult height range, I would have looked for a front control display air fryer. Please keep that in mind before purchasing.
Secondly, the control panel display isn’t easily seen because the top of the unit is glossy black glass and reflects the light hitting it. The lights that illuminate the various buttons aren’t bright enough to see when the unit is in a bright room, because all you see is the reflection of the ceiling. I had to move the air fryer again because I couldn’t see the display with all the reflections. Please keep that in mind before purchasing.
This is my honest review. I wish this had a front display for the vertically challenged folks, or if the control panel display tilted up, then it would be perfect. That’s the reason I dropped a star in my rating. I hope this helps folks decide if this unit is a good fit for them.

I am a carnivore so I eat a lot of meat. It is so much easier to fix in my new Tastee Air Fryer. The size of it is perfect. You can cook plenty of food in there. I don’t use any oils and it is very easy to clean up. It cooks everything perfect like in a restaurant. The quality of the product is great. It seems to be built very well and sturdy and will last a long time. I would totally recommend this product. I’m so excited that I have this brand “Tastee” It’s so different than the rest. I researched all the rest and could easily see that this was the best!

So far it’s been fantastic, simple to use and excellent results. I put the probe in, place the meat on the grill, push a couple of buttons, and forget about it until the beep sounds. There is an a beep to flip it but I haven’t flipped it and it comes out perfect. So nice not to guess when the steak is done or having to stand at the stove. The flavor is great and perfectly cooked. I hope it continues to work flawlessly. Would definitely recommend,

Fyi, I still have my Ninja air fryer that I use to fry chicken nuggets, etc. in, but I use this new Tastee air fryer exclusively for steaks. Because of the probe and the fact that this heats to 450° to be able to sear the steaks, it makes the most perfect steak I have ever had in just a matter of minutes and the cleanup is a breeze. The steaks come out sizzling and are brown and crusted on top and cooked to whatever doneness you tell it to, because of the probe that you stick inside the meat while cooking. It knows exactly how long to cook that steak for it to come out perfectly. There’s no guess work to this, so I can set it and forget it and go on and do other things and it will beep me when it’s done. And it comes out perfect! I let the steaks rest for 10 minutes on the wire rack and then transfer to a plate and then pour the juices over the top of the steaks and serve.
Of all my kitchen gadgets, and I use them all, this one is the most prized, because of how it cooks the steaks. I love steak, but I hate having to stand outside and babysit a barbecue or pop up the stove trying to fry a steak and with this air fryer, you literally pop the probe into the meat and throw the steak in the air fryer. It will ask you what kind of meat your cooking, such as what type of steak, which I personally use either ribeye or New York strip, and then it will ask you for how you want it cooked and you scroll down to rare thru well done and hit start and walk away. You come back to a steak that is sizzling and cooked to perfection. I would never give this up. If it happened to die tomorrow, I’d order another one to replace it, that’s how much I love it.

I love the construction, ease of use and great features but; and this is a *big but. The tray/container you put the food in gives off a really unpleasant odor when it gets hot and the odor kinda transfers to whatever I cook in it making it inedible. It smells *kinda like burned rubber or something along those lines. This is my first air fryer so I don’t know if this is a reoccurring them with all air fryers but if so it is definitely a deal breaker for me. Oh yeah. Forgot to mention. I have washed the tray/container a number of times and run it through the dishwasher several times. I have also put vinegar in the container and turned it on and let it run but nope; smell is still there.
UPDATE: Tastee has gone over-and-above to make this right. They offered me a full refund or a replacement. I opted for the replacement. The odor I was experiencing must have been a one-off because the replacement unit works great and no odor. This is the kind of company you want to do business with.
