Have been using this product since the mid 1990’s.
It covers scratches, is easy to apply and to polish up, leaving a deep luster every time.
The video shows our car needing a wash… no traditional water or soaps were used on the rear quarter panel, just the Turtle Wax Color Magic polish.
As can be seen, it brought the panel up to a vibrant well finished shine and our car is 10 years old!
Best applied in the morning or late afternoon, if the car will be in sunlight.
It’s low on elbow grease usage and lasts for months. Light nicks and scratches do just disappear, with deeper scratches needing 2 or 3 applications. It’s all a far easier process than even the traditional way of washing a car by hand. It works just fine on its own for removal and polishing away of light road dirt and greases.

I wasnt so sure of this wax when i ordered it, but i figured id give it a try. I used it on a 35 year old car that i recently bought that had sat through a winter in the guy i bought it from driveway. It brought the color back awesomely! It made a huge difference. I did use a buffer with it for some parts of the car, but the rest was just elbow grease. it took me probably an hour to just wax the car, thats not including washing it, drying it, and the other stuff like the wheels and glass. realistically like 3 hours total time for me from start to finish. As soon as i was done making the car look as good as it possibly could, i let my girlfriend take it 5 miles away for a ride where a woman talking on her phone blew the stop sign, and crashed right into it, but hey, the wax worked GREAT!!!

Man, Turtle Wax 52711 Color Magic was a total letdown for me. I was hoping to give my car a little makeover, but this stuff didn’t cut it at all.
First off, applying it was a pain. Supposed to fix scratches and swirls, but it just sat on the surface, not doing much. Followed the instructions, word for word, and nothing was impacted.
And the color boost? Forget about it. Instead of a vibrant look, my car ended up looking dull and kinda weird. Definitely not the pop I was expecting.
But the worst part? It didn’t last. Washed my car, and any tiny improvement was gone. This “lasting protection” they talk about didn’t last through a regular cleaning.
Overall, Turtle Wax 52711 Color Magic was a letdown. If you’re looking for a reliable way to spruce up your car’s paint, this ain’t it. Save your money for something that actually delivers on its promises.

Worked great bringing the car paint color back where the clear coat was not damaged. Clear coat needs to be removed. The rest of the car looks like new.
