We travel with this grill. It fits in our motorcycle trailer and really does not take up much space. So easy to set up. Cooks our burgers or steak perfectly. Easy to clean up afterwards.

We love cooking steaks and corn on a charcoal grill. Bought this to replace one we had for 25 years and couldn’t be happier. So much nicer than the one we had!

Love this Weber. My only regret is that I didn’t buy this sooner. We purchased it to have in our RV but have used it several times due to its traveling convenience. Assembly was easy, took maybe 10 min. Only thing I would caution is using it on a windy day. When the lid is propped on the side, wind can blow it over. Aside from that, it’s the perfect little grill!

I love this grill, especially for the price. The gripe I have is adjusting the vents can burn you when the grill is hot. I ordered some handles that attach to the grill to solve that issue. I also would like a temp gauge. Other than that, it’s awesome. I like that you can rotate the grate while cooking, I do that every time I open the lid if I’m direct grilling to even out the cook. It’s typical Weber build quality, for those that don’t know, that’s excellent. I think you could leave it in the weather for years with no issues. I love that the lid will sit on the holder when you open it, so you don’t have to find a place to set it down when it’s hot, and you don’t get it dirty while cooking. I also love that you can lock the lid down to carry the grill while it’s hot. It is overall a fantastic grill for camping or quick smaller cooks.

Excelente calidad, excelente tamaño, lo mejor de todo que puedes llevarlo en la cajuela del coche sin tener que desarmar a diferencia de los otros Weber que tienen llantas

This review pertains to the Weber Jumbo Joe 18″ charcoal grill. It is your basic unit, not intended for grill connoisseurs who want features like the ability to raise and lower the grill. I have not cooked on it yet but I think it will perform well, since what is important is a tight design and good/easy ventilation options, which this unit has. The unit appears to be well made, heavy duty enough but not too heavy, since it is intended to be portable. Everything fits together as it should. I cringe when I see assembly instructions with pictures but no verbiage, but these instructions (pictures only) were well done and fairly easy to follow. A couple of reviewers criticized the arm that holds the handle out of the way plus allows you to slide the lid to one side of the grill while you check your food (rather than having to find someplace to set the lid down), but I think this feature works very well so far (again, having not grilled yet). Another reviewer said the handle gets too hot while grilling…I hope that isn’t the case but we will see. I suppose I’ll use a hot pad if that happens, not a big deal unless the handle melts, which seems unlikely! So far I am pleased.

The loop handle over the top / top holder is awesome. Easy to travel with. Cooks like the full size kettle.

Great grill. Larger than I expected. Perfect size for backyard grilling for several people. The airtight lid allows for more than one meal using the charcoal, if you’re a thrifty person. Love the holder for the lid on this one. My previous Weber did not have the lid holder. Webers last F-O-R-E-V-E-R. I refuse to buy another brand of grill.

Weber quality, works great!

Great entry-level charcoal BBQ, heats evenly and takes up little to no space in the shed when not being used
