Surely this can be returned outside the return period? It obviously meant to last longer than a month and must infringe Australian consumer laws for warranty?

We purchased this for our grandson for his 4th birthday. He just started playing Parks & Rec soccer and absolutely loves it but, like most of the 4-year-old crew, he mostly loves running in a pack after the ball and just being out there running in the group. We were hoping, if he had his own ball, he could practice and play with his Mom at home (who also played Parks & Rec soccer at that age) and learn to work the ball more. When he unwrapped his gift of his very own soccer ball, he was absolutely thrilled and held it up high for all to see.
That being said, the quality seems very good for the price and Wilson is a name brand that we trust. This is the perfect size for him, the same size he uses at his soccer games, and it got him really excited about the game. Side benefit, his little sister seems to be a natural and, in a couple years, when she is old enough to play soccer, she will have had a little experience playing at home. We are happy with this ball. If feels and looks good and should last well.

Great practice or at home soccer ball. Slightly cushioned, typical looking design that I enjoy. I bought this ball to play with my dogs (they love soccer and I don’t want to give them something too expensive to play with) and they were able to chew it up eventually, but it still lasted longer than other balls I’ve bought to play with them.

Well it’s a nice basic ball and arrived quickly. If you’re like me and have a dog who loves to play ball you might not want to get this. In a few minutes our Boston Terrier puppy destroyed this ball. Shredded it to pieces. With normal use it would last but it won’t hold up to dog teeth. He picks it up and it leaves teeth holes in the ball.
I didn’t expect he could pick up a size 4 ball. He loves basketball but those are so tough his teeth don’t do anything. He carries this size 4 around the yard and shreds the white right off.
Bummer. Back to the drawing board. We have a soccer net and a shredded ball.
If we didn’t have a dog this would have been perfect.

You know after he stole my wife, again, I thought I’d never forgive my brother. But it must not have been easy being a Baltimore refugee in my small town of Nebraska, Nebraska. Lucky enough our family quickly bonded and got past the race thing. Now here we are, 27 years later, and I’m forgiving him again for stealing my wife again, we just kick the old Wilson around and everything’s OK. It reminds us of different times when we’d kick a near identical ball around the school yard while our adoptive parents unloaded the blue van every Tuesday morning. Thanks Wilson. You’re proof that not everything has to change.
