I really like this console table. It took me about 4 hours to assemble by myself. I am not a professional furniture builder so some of the time was spent figuring out what the diagram was trying to convey. The instructions are pictures only; nothing written to explain things in detail. If you work visually & not concerned about detailed instructions then you will be fine. The unit is very attractive and will work well in the smaller space I am moving to. I haven’t decided if I will place it behind my sofa or in my small dining room. It could also be used as a table to set a TV on in a tight space. I would recommend this piece!!

The directions are extremely hard to follow. That is why I gave 4 stars. They make you second guess a lot. Especially the first few steps. After the first few it is pretty easy, and looks great! It is also pretty study. The drawer is a little iffy, but it could also have been the person putting it together. Other than that, I think it’s pretty good for the price.

Not bad assembly directions, very well labeled. However the down side is the diagrams. Only if they were better. Then I would give this a perfect score. Pay close attention when you assemble the drawer slide mechanisms. A litte tricky. My advice, if you are not savvy, poor vision or two thumbs don’t do this alone. Excellent Lighting is required, good luck.

Overall experience wasn’t the greatest. I was looking forward to this console table but I was wrong. I soon found out the hard way. The assembly part was a hot mess. You kind a need two person to help. Too many parts to work with. There were so many problems that I can’t ignore as well The screws sticks out in some area due to the screw holes drilled incorrectly. The lamented wood in one area was too long resulting in a bend from inside the package. Lots of misalignment issues. It’s suppose to be flushed but some board sticks out. There was a small dent on the black metal frame and few chipped wood on some panels. I was willing to live with some imperfection as it looks nice and sturdy but the last straw came when the sliding compartment would not work. It was always jammed half way. Returning it was a major headache. I have to pay to have it shipped back to them…. The thing weight about 22 kg which as you can imagine expensive. I tried to return in to a warehouse which was close to me instead of paying for shipping but what I find was a sketchy warehouse with no company logo on it. I called to make sure that it was the correct place but they said (you have the wrong number) So sus!!! After talking to Amazon ,I ended up paying for shipping $63.65 CAN to have it shipped to that place just to keep a record. Now I’m in the process of talking to Amazon to get my shipping cost reimbursed. Had I known this was from a third party I would not have gotten it. Too much hassle. Buyers bewarned!!!
