Got my zebco Rome rod and reel combo yesterday, tested it out this morning I’m very happy caught a 6 lb and 7 lb Bass couldn’t ask for anything more excellent casting nice and smooth it feels like a more expensive setup for sure definitely recommend it, five stars all the way

This reel came with terrible line that tries to stay wound up. the line gets tangled under the bottom of the spinning mechanism which is poorly designed. Zebco reels have always been a favorite of mine until this reel. The rod is stiff and not as described. I will try another line on it before I give up entirely on it. It should have come in working order.

Just got the Zebco ML 6-10 lb test reel and rod in mail open the package and find either a crack or paint chip in the top part of the rod. Have to fish with it to see if it breaks but the colors are great feels really light and good in the hand. Reel is all white and really tight. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t damaged upon arrival.
