Alright so, the first one I bent the pins for 1151 socket. Second I behaved and it works fantastic. A lot of reviews complain about only a few GPUs working. This is likely due to Legacy versus ROCr drivers. If you are using multiple different GPUs you need to ensure you are installing the correct OpenCL versions for the types. Next, use an OS that has historically productive luck with GPU drivers. My board only used 4 GPUs until I identified the correct OpenCL. I am a bit different as this rig will not be mining but focused on using Hashcat for client protesting so if you require some weird mining OS, I can’t assist. That being said, works great and all 8 GPUs (5x RX580; 3x RX Vega 56) lastly, YOUR CPU MUST HAVE INTEGRATED GRAPHICS or you will end up thinking the display doesn’t work and return the board.

I ordered this board thinking that the 8 pcie slots would be great for mining. Each slot required its own power so what’s the point of even making a board like this compared to a reputable brand like Asus in which I can get risers and still be more cost effective with better specs. I was also charged a $40 restocking fee and had to pay return shipping, the board I received look used, horrible product and service.

I received the first one DOA but the support been really amazing with this seller Deep In The Mines. Really cool guy and the second one directly worked as charm 👍🏼😎

It needs at least 6cm between each PCIE slot

Not a single one worked from day 1. All of them had some sort of failure. 1, all 8 slots worked for one day then every few days one of the gpu slots would fail. Returned that one. Second one, out of the box 2 gpu slots didnt work. Board 3, nothing worked, wouldnt even power on. Board number 4!!! only 3 gpu slots worked. These are the worst quality boards I have ever seen!! Stay far far away!!

I’ve built several 8 GPU rigs with the classic BTC-S37 board from China. But when I tried to built a rig with Radeon Instinct MI25 cards, I needed a more recent mainboard with at least an I3.
This board woks great with only (4) AMD Radeon Instinct MI25 cards installed. Add the 5th card and it won’t even “POST” when “mining” is enabled in the Bios.
Disable the “mining” feature and it will boot into the Bios with a warning saying “PCI OUT OF RESOURCES CONDITION”.
Despite the marketing speak on the Biostar website, they really aren’t doing anything to expand the limitation of the 16 PCIe lanes on these 8th and 9th gen processors. Tech support has been completely absent, if there was a negative rating, that’s what they’ve earned by not even responding after a week.
If you buy this board to build a system with only 4 GPUs and plenty of space between the cards, this board is great. Hence I gave it a “1/2” score, because it works at half of what it’s advertised to do.

Takes a while to get hooked up with the right cpu but yea it’s decent ngl

This Motherboard never worked correctly because it would keep crashing and rebooting it’s self. One day after the 30 money back expired the motherboard died completely. I contacted the manufacturer and they gave me an RMA number to return it to the for repair or replacement. Three months later I still don’t have the motherboard back so I contacted Amazon to get an A to Z refund. The next day a “Repaired” motherboard is finally delivered to me. At this point having zero trust in the product I returned it anyway. Don’t waste your money or worse yet your time. This Motherboard is absolute Junk!

I love the simplicity of this board. It runs great and has good spacing for my cards. I do wish it had a power button but I guess you can’t have it all. It has plenty of fan connections for creating good airflow. The processors are a bit hard to get your hands on and these seem limited in quantity right now. None of that is the fault of the board. Overall, a great addition for my mining setup with 12v server power supplies.

Please note, this is advertising as a 8x PCIex16, when it is really only 1xPCIex16 + 7x PCIex1, dont get fooled. 7 slots are just cheep plastic, worth nothing.
