I’ve only had it a few days, but so far it works beautifully. I found the instructions to be confusing, but I tossed them aside and learned how to use it. Now my tea tastes great. I’d been using the wrong temp. I also use it for instant coffee and that works well, too. If it lasts for a long time, I’ll be very pleased.

Kettle is good and works well for pourover coffee making. The gooseneck allows a good variation for slow and fast pours. The smaller size makes it easier to use. I have big hands so I find the handle a little small, my wife feels it is perfect. Heats up quickly. Switch is quite sturdy especially compared to our previous Bodum which failed after 7 months of daily use. Another plus the logo is smaller in real life. I think this is overpriced at $70 CAD but my wife is happy so I don’t mind.
Edit: this is a good kettle for making pourover coffee. The spout gives you nice control whether pouring slow or really fast. And being smaller it is lighter and less unwieldy.

Overall, I was impressed with how quickly this boiled a liter of water. I think it took only 2 1/2 minutes which is probably the fastest I’ve seen for an electric kettle. The gooseneck is nice, and it only seems to leak if you have the steam holes on the lid pointed towards the gooseneck when you were pouring out the water so it seems like an easy enough thing to avoid. This machine has one dial for on/off And preset temperatures only. This isn’t really a big deal unless you are an extreme connoisseur. I kind of wish I could dial to the individual digits, but I guess that’s not really necessary to someone who is mainly using this to make tea And pourover coffee.
Customer Review –
This is a good kettle. The shape is perfect for a small pourover coffee and it is light weight. The interface is a little weird, and if you don’t turn it off before lifting it and putting it back, you will hear a lot of beeps which is annoying – there is no ‘permanent’ mute. It also doesn’t remember what temperature you last used when turning on, so you need to look at a rather small number and scroll to select each time. Then, if you want it to keep warm that’s another set of button clicks. Overall a good kettle but somewhat annoying interface.

Cosas buenas cosas malas
1. Calienta muy muy rápido.
2. Es muy bonita.
3. Práctica de usar y muy bueno el cuello de cisne.
4. Materiales buenos.
5. Fácil de servir y no ocupas levantar mucho.
6. Una ves caliente se apaga sola.
MALAS COSAS DEL ARTÍCULO.
1. El precio no es el mas bajo.
2. La parte cromada Es de mala calidad.

This isn’t the main tea kettle in my house, but the upstairs tea kettle. That sentence alone should tell you how my family feels about tea. It works really well for quickly heating up water to one temperature, which is as fancy as I plan to ever get with my tea, as contentious as that is in some tea-drinking circles. (I actually exclusively make herbal infusions, as even decaffeinated true tea triggers migraines for me, so bear that in mind if you are looking for the advice of someone who uses proper tea leaves.) The kettle is a little more upscale and elegant than the average dorm-style electric kettle, but also has a little less volume if that’s important to you. The spout can be tricky to pour from the first few times, but it’s easy to get the hang of, it’s just a thinner opening than most kettles I’ve used. It makes a very satisfying arcing stream of water when poured from correctly. The lid does get hot when the water is boiling, so you have to be careful if you want to refill after it’s been used. I like that the kettle can go on the base in any direction, so there’s much less fiddling about to get the two parts to connect than the kinds of kettles that have one specific orientation. The length of the power cord has been fine for my purposes, but I do always unplug it after use. One of the things I’m really happy about is that the inside is metal, so there’s no plastic taste to the water and I’m not as worried about it leaching chemicals when it heats up, which I was concerned about with plastic kettles I’ve had in the past. I think I’ve de-scaled it once in the year I’ve had it and that was mostly a preventative measure, while I would have to de-scale my old plastic one every few months or endure flecks of mineralization in my water. I definitely feel like I’ve gotten my (relatively small amount of) money’s worth, and am satisfied enough to have recommended the same model to my mother-in-law, which is a true seal of approval.

I was mislead
And go add insult to injury, I have to pay 80 pounds to send it back!!!!
Amazon not clear on this. Kettle does not say it was designed in California ( I care about this only because I’m after safety) they don’t mention that it will not work in the UK and do not mention that we the customer have to cough up more than the price of the kettle to return it!!! The seller is helpful and was quick to respond and try to help so I have changed to 5 stars.
No Thanks –
This is great for my pour over coffee! 5 stars. BUT it turned out to be perfect for just gently warm water for a neti pot. Can set it low at 105 AND keep it there for up to several hours. Game changer compared to the old fashion ‘boil only’ kettles. Turn off the beeping and it stays off unless unplugged, then it turns back on. But turn it back off and it stays off again until unplugged or power outage resets it.

I decided to ditch the coffee maker and join the pour over craze when my wife quit coffee and moved to the mushroom tea (I am not giving up my coffee!). This little thing is awesome! It heats up so quickly to the temp of your choosing by either picking the exact degree you want or use a preset which lists the kind of tee you are using or coffee temp. It also can hold the temp (must hit the hold button) if you don’t use all the water in the pot. Easy to clean and attractive sitting on our tea/coffee station. I hope it has longevity because electronics seem to die sooner than they should. We will see!

A family member has one and we noticed that they were able to boil water lickety-split. We use this at night when having our mushroom tea and it only takes a few minutes to heat the water to almost boiling point. We pour early as if the tea is too hot it just sits there until it is cool enough to drink.
This is a welcome addition to our kitchen arsenal and the gooseneck kettle also looks pretty cool.
Bottoms up!
