Its cute, it’s versatile, it’s chique and it’s somehow both strong and dainty – and then you go to move it hahaha! She’s clunky and a tad awkward to adjust. She can also sound quite ‘rattley’ in the car while driving so you won’t want to forget your beach blanket when you travel with this bad boy to tuck it in to place. Overall this is a wonderful little addition to the car camping gear collection!

I bought this grill for camping and outings at the beach. Easy to attach the gas cannister and easy to get started up. Heats evenly and is easy to clean. Two slight problems: when setting up, the legs are a bit wobbly and could easily be toppled over by little kids or dogs; when folding the legs back up after use you have to set the grill flat on ground and push the legs back into each other, which is a bit of a pain.

After reading the conflicting reviews on this grill I decided to give it a try. I buy numerous items on Amazon and usually dont take the time to review them because I haven’t had any problems and dont take the time for positive reviews. However after reading about the supposed fake reviews on this grill I am taking the time to review it. I was looking for a small, inexpensive portable grill to use on the sandbar with my wife and 3 kids when we take the boat out. This grill looked ideal as the legs can be extended to set it up in shallow water or shore without hauling an additional table. The grill arrived and the legs went on in under 5 minutes. I threw on a 2 year old propane bottle that was maybe 1/4 full. I burned off the new crud for 5 minutes and threw on several burgers and hot dogs to give it a try. The burgers were completely frozen. I left the grill on medium high and did the burgers 6 minutes a side. They were very well done and probably on the grill for too long. This is a small grill and 5 hamburgers and a couple hot dogs fill it up. the grill got very hot very quick and I had zero problems lighting it. Time will tell how it stands up to shore use but for a cheap very portable grill to throw some burgers, brats etc I believe its an excellent buy. As the one reviewer said its no 3 burner Weber but I think it will work great for the occassional use of camping, tailgating etc.
UPDATE!! After using this grill on the sandbar all summer I still give it 5 stars. The grill lit easily every time, the legs dropped down and worked great in the shallow water without any issues. The grill will flare up if your cooking some really greasy burgers but with abundant water nearby I simply used the kids squirt gun to douse the flame. Grill cleaned up easily at the end of the season and I look forward to using it again next year. Having hot food after a day on the boat made our outings that much better.

The grill works well and starts up easily. It cooked well. The interior is hard to clean but that could be said about most grills. The Verastand that I additionally bought, is very shaky and the legs do not close back up properly. They extend too far and then the push button which allows them to collapse does not work.

After only a couple of weeks of usage the telescoping legs don’t work. The grill is great but the legs need to be changed to a design that actually works. Spend your money elsewhere.

We love to camp and have had portable grills in the past. What I like about this one is it has legs so you don’t have to put it on a table or on the ground. The legs are sturdy and fold and slide in, making it very compact for transporting.

Overall, I’m utterly happy with this grill for its portability, telescopic stand, cooking quality and easy cleanning.
The only reason I’m taking one star away is that feet lock mechanism is a permanent failure when it comes to extending the legs. Sometimes it takes way too long to set it up. And second issue is the ignition – it normally doesn’t ignite from the first attempt.
Update: be very careful when using the grill cleaning spray. If you get it on the painted cover, it causes discoloration or total removal of the paint in spots where cleaning solution remained longer than few minutes.

I bought this to take along in our RV for grilling while we’re out camping. Our camper has a LP port with an outdoor kitchen area, so I just hook this little thing up and away we go. So far, cooking has been nice with good temperature control. It fits pretty nicely in our RV storage compartment.
The grill is short. I’m an average-sized guy and it comes up to about my waist. If you’re a tall person I would say you might want to get some blocks or a knee pad unless you like bending over.
My biggest complaint is just the clunkiness. It’s designed to be portable… but it’s not designed that way very well. You can tell the engineers put some thought into it but it’s almost like they never bothered to actually take it out and use it anywhere. The legs fold up and slide into the underside of the grill, and they’re offset so they slide next to each other to make it compact. That’s great, except they won’t friggin stay put. They keep sliding out like wings sticking out the sides as I’m trying to carry it around. Carrying it is a chore because of this, and because it’s not balanced very well it’s like trying to lug a toddler around. There’s also a drip tray that slides in underneath, but there’s no retention of any kind, so it also falls out regularly.
It’s like driving an old car with parts falling off as it’s going down the road.
The setup is a bit clunky as well since there’s really no way to hold the grill with one hand while you’re trying to slide the legs out with the other. The legs just don’t… stay… where you want them. Ever. If you want them in, they want to come out. If you want them out, they want to go in. Getting them in the right spot and then trying to lock them in place is a struggle. Once they’re locked open and down on the ground they’re pretty sturdy for the type of grill it is though.
At this price point and in this size… this is really the best option. It does work, and if you’re willing to deal with just a little frustration during setup and teardown it should serve you well. We’re still using it on every outing we have, so it’s worth it to me.

Didn’t have room for a big grill, works well, easy to pack up and go to a party or camping. Happy with the purchase.

I bought this as a damaged box unit and I have had really good luck in the past with the damaged box items, this was in new condition but for someone had used it prior to returning it and didn’t clean it so had a bit of a task cleaning the slobs fish pieces off the burner grate and sides but when i did behold just like a brand new unit worked first try and heats great, well worth the discount price I paid, about 1/2 price so just love it as it’s just the right size for two of us here.

Great little grill. Compact yet amazingly functional.

Well I hate to be a downer, but this grill was a total disappointment. I like the look of it and the design is great in theory, but I don’t really understand why other reviews say this is good quality. It’s tinny, it creaks, and feels more like a $60 grill than $150. On first use, the knob stopped working. So basically, I can’t turn the flame off at all. It just cycles from low to high and back to low again. I eventually just had to unscrew the propane canister to get it to shut down. Also, one of the legs does not snap into the grill bracket, so if you accidentally knock it, the whole thing collapses. I called Cuisinart to get help and they just said to return it. No help and total PITA. Bummer. I’ve had some other recent experiences with Cuisinart products that were unfortunately similar. This once prestigious brand, has lost its shine 🙁
