Amazon Customer –
Wow we have been on the road living in an RV for 3 years without a good grill. This one fits our needs just right! The cooking surface is a little bigger than the Weber Grills we looked at. The last grill we had was a 6500 BTU and you could cook faster with a match. This one gets hot enough to get the job done. There is only two of us, but we do try to cook extra so we don’t have to tear it down every day and clean it. (We live in bear country) We cooked 6 brats and three burgers at the same time the other day.
It is easy to clean also. We just pop the grates off, stick them in the sink and clean them up with soap and water and wipe the grease out of the catch pan and wash it off in the sink.
We didn’t get the griddle, but I think we might so we can cook shrimp, fish and veggies easier.
My sister has one that is about 10 years old. Still going strong. We have been using this for about a month. We will buy this again.

My old Weber finally kicked the bucket so I went searching for a new small tabletop gas grill. Tried 2 different brands and really disliked them both – on one, the grease pooled above the burners, caught fire and darn near took my porch with it. I was NOT happy. I came across this Coleman – a brand I’ve loved from my hiking/camping days and thought I would give it a try. Nothing to assemble, lights immediately and the gas/flame level actually adjusts. Not on high all the time like with some others. And I am so impressed with the water canal that collects the grease. Wow! Never saw this before on any other grill and I love it! No more porch fires for me. No more scorched food. And no more grimy clean ups. This is genius! And it’s plenty big. It’s just great.

Cleaning the grids is a bit time consuming. i tried putting them in the dishwasher (they are dishwasher safe) but that baked some food to the grid and I had to scrub them manually anyway. I have a little difficulty installing the gas canisters but that may be the arthritis in my hands and not a problem with the grill. With the negatives stated here is what I liked. The grill is big enough for my small family and I can grill six large hamburgers with no problem. The temperature setting gets a little getting used to but once you understand that, it is very easy to set and grill. The top is tall enough that I can use a vegetable basket inside with the lid closed. While it could be taken camping, and is quite portable and easy to carry, it is heavy. I put a floor tile under it to protect my grill stand from the heat; however, I have not noticed it getting hot and am not sure that is necessary. Overall I am pleased with this grill and if necessary would buy it again.

Easy to clean, easy to use. Can take it camping or wherever because it’s small and lightweight enough to easily travel with. Haven’t had any issues with it yet whatsoever. I recommend this if you don’t grill enough for a big bulky back yard bbq. You can store it in the garage or wherever during the off season and it won’t take up much room. The quality is pretty good. Glad I bought it. No complaints so far.

The website depicts and describes portability; but instead this grill is awkward to carry, the legs do not fold, the lid does not latch, the two grates are heavy and loose and will need to be transported separately. I am a 200-pound man and this grill is as portable as a full-size home patio grill. I returned this item within 3 hours of receiving it and Amazon is only giving me an Amazon credit for a different purchase rather than refunding my money. I suppose Amazon Jeff Bezos is not making enough money; I think I’ll look closer at Walmart.com in the future.

I have used a number of portable, petit and travel grills over the years. This is my second Coleman travel grill. For the price and the sturdiness of the grill it is a good purchase. The only con I have is that I am sure that Coleman could have designed some type of locking mechanism. I will still give them a 5 Star. It is a good table top grill for the price.

as of the purchase, bought in Aug 2024, there is no carrying case for this item. However, there are after market cases available on Amazon just be sure you know all the dimensions. This grill however is a Winner, Coleman products are quality made.

This is my second Coleman grill! My first one was Coleman Road trip with the wheels. It is over 5 years and still works great but I wanted another one that was a bit smaller for easier portability. This one fit the bill! I love that you can pour water into the pan before you use it to help with cleaning when you are done. All’s you do is lift the pan out and pour the water and grease out and wipe it out and you are good to go for the next bbq! The only improvement to this model is that I wish it had handles on both sides to help with mobility. Not a big deal though because it is super light. The grill grates are removable also and clean up nicely. I love my little grill!
