I shopped around for this style tool. I’m happy to find a decent hori hori that fits the hand, requires little care, comes with a useful case and seems strong.

I wish fiskars had more European production going on, but their designs are generally good.

I really wanted to start using a hori hori and I’m pretty happy to have selected this one.

Handle fits well in the hand, blade is sturdy and sharp (use gloves!), case is solid with a good belt clip (not easy to sit).

It works well in the soil for weed control, makes holes for plantings, cuts through mulch bags.

The forked tip could be a problem. I chipped one point early on in use. Maybe it would be better if they were rounded off – or came to a point.

(I liked the look of the Corona and would like to try it as well, but something about the composite holster on the fiskars version made me try this one first.)

    I’d recommend with some reservations.

I needed something lightweight for troublesome weeds and just general utility. Fiskars has always shined in that dept. Maybe not the most heavy duty tools, but they get the job done without spending a ton of $$$. This little guy is great; Lightweight, but enough heft for light chopping. The factory edge was… Meh., but gets crazy sharp after a few minutes on diamond and ceramic stones. I’ve been using it around the house and business taking care of weeds mostly. It’ll dispatch very small branches, and the serrations help with sawing through things. The sheath? Yeah, it’s crap. But it’s a $17 knife, the sheath is probably going to be an afterthought. I might try and find a leather sheath that will fit. Handle is comfortable and the rubber grip works well with or without gloves. Overall, great little all-around blade for gardeners, landscapers, and I’m sure it would make a great camp knife. Most of the machete functionality, without the machete weight.

The Fiskars Garden Hori Knife is very sturdy and makes work in the garden that much easier. Well packaged and arrived as promised. Recommended

I am loving my new harvest basket. It is large enough that I can harvest several different kinds of veggies without piling them on top of each other. The oblong shape makes it easy to carry long bunches of chard or dill or cut flowers. I keep my garden snips in the central compartment so I always have them handy. I like that the handles fold down for easy loading of large items, but if there is one addition I would make it would be some way to snap the handles together when you want them upright. I’ve only used it for one month, so I can’t really comment on longevity, but it seems quite sturdy.

Really nice quality, as we have come to expect from Fiskars. Substantial! Be sure to check the measurements closely. We were surprised at the size, it is bigger than expected. Good for a lot of tomatoes 🙂
I love the thoughtful features. The classic shape is great, but this is also good for washing the produce and the separate spaces give me a place to rest my (Fiskars!) pruners when not using them to snip off a squash to add into the basket. 🙂

It’s a great product! I paid £25 on Amazon, but then the price went up by far too much! This product is fantastic but should be priced at around the £25-£30 mark!

Great gathering basket with three compartments. If you need to rinse off dirt no problem, the plastic material and open slots make it easy. I was surprised by the size, but love it. I would say it is great value for the money spent. It is not a elegant as wood or wicker baskets, but you could leave this one outside in the rain, you will not ruin it.

At first I thought I might have overpaid for this item. But when it arrived, I could not believe how big and solid it is. It definitely appears built to last.
This will hold probably more than I could carry in one garden harvest. I love the idea I can wash my harvest right in this basket due to the drainage holes and it will be very easy to clean. Also really love the idea of the tool holder in the middle for garden tools so that both hands are free to carry the basket.
I can see using this for other purposes as well. Like using it to transport my flowers/veggies to plant in my gardens/pots.
    Highly recommend.

This is a very good weeding tool. It’s sharp, sturdy, and easy to use. Yes, the sheath isn’t great like many reviews indicate, but I don’t carry this item on my belt and it’s just fine for storing in the shed.
