I live in WI. While I like having holiday lights up, especially at Christmas, I HATE climbing the ladder to get to the peaks of the house. Add in trying to time not putting them up too early or missing the short window before a freak snowfall happens. And I don’t like the look of the lights and cords hanging for months after the holidays because the snow is too deep to take them down safely.
I have had the Eufy lights mounted on the house for over a month and they have been solidly attached. I added 2 of the strands from a 50′ set to cover my area (Eufy says one power block can handle that much). The built in scenes work great and the personal options are very easy to use. Even the AI suggestions are pretty good. Sometimes you’ll get something great, but even if they aren’t what you expected, they are all great starting places to personalize.
OH… and you can turn off ANY of the individual lights if you maybe had to cross a space or maybe the end of the string was too long and you wanted it to stop in a specific place!

I ordered these with the Prime Day deal. I was also able to get a $20 refund because a coupon appeared the day after I ordered (thanks to Eufy for helping me out with that).
I was a little nervous how these would look because we don’t have eaves. I didn’t want them to look like cheap Christmas lights. I would go up the ladder, wipe the surface, stick it on with the adhesive, and then drill it in. It’s a decent amount of work for 100 feet. Because I wanted to run the power into my garage, I only used 67 feet and left the last two strands unplugged. I may purchase a 50 foot unit at a later date for my backyard.
The app is relatively easy to use. I spent about 10 minutes figuring out where all the setting are. The lights look fantastic at night. They are comparable to the houses that have pros set up for thousands of dollars. Most of the time I will just have the daylight setting to brighten up the front of our house, but it’s nice to have the Halloween and Christmas pre-sets and I already customized one for Sunday to support my favorite NFL team.

Performance and features are good. But eufy should have provide at least two extension wires

Reviews on Youtube mentioned for the E120 that the ends of each string didn’t take into account the connection to the next. That has been corrected with the E22 series, the space between each light, including at the connections is 18 inches.
I haven’t mounted them, but connected, tested, and set up wifi etc… Anyone running into an issue that the lights are not turning in; Check your connections and unplug the power adapter and plug it back in The integrated mounting point on each light is a thoughtful upgrade, so you shouldn’t need to buy additional clips.
IP67 ratings for the power adapter and controller.
A few things that could be better:
1: allow separate sets to talk to eachother through the app to allow syncing or create a splitter that can. I’m not going all the way around my house, thus needed two separate sets.
2: more allowable customization within the app
3: allow these to connect/be set up under the security app or utilize homebase 3.0 as a communication point and a single app instead of 2.
Edit after mounting:
These look great, but the 3m tape could be better. I cleaned my eaves with a spray bottle of diluted alcohol and rag and it had a tough time holding long enough to get a screw in, which isn’t great when on an extension ladder to mount to a gable. Extra screws would be appreciated too. You’re bound to drop a few and finding them can be a royal pita, especially in a rock bed.
They seem to default to on after power loss, which should be default to last state/off or as scheduled.

I really like these Eufy 50ft lights. I purchased these after buying the 100ft that I installed on the front of my house and found that I wanted them to wrap to the side as well. These connected perfectly fine after unplugging, then plugging the controller back in.
There are so many options for colors, on/off for each led puck light, and patterns galore. Like everything Eufy I’ve purchased for serval years, these lights are darn good quality.

Just installed and it went very smoothly. I used a 2×4 cut piece to maintain a constant 3.5” spacing from the wall. For the peak, I made sure to make the lights even on either side, with a light at the peak. The screw tab made this possible as the peak light didn’t need to be securely fixed to the soffit. A rag with alcohol worked great for cleaning the area before placing. I went back after and pre drilled into the soffit before securing it with the screws. This wasn’t necessary and the screws eventually cut through without pre-drilling too if you don’t have access to a drill. Highly recommend an electric screwdriver for an even easier install. The integration with the cameras and the price definitely gave it an edge over competitors. The only limitation is only being able to do 150ft before having to start a new set on a different module, but that is plenty for most houses.
Definitely looking forward to not having to go up on a ladder during holiday seasons for Christmas lights and the added bonus of having them be on for Halloween this year.
I have always been impressed with the quality of eufy products and this is no exception!

I recommend these lights . Very easy to install on my green chain link fence and to make then blend I got a half inch PVC coupling attached to a small piece of 1/2-in PVC pipe put it against the lens of the light and then spray painted the white housing now or barely noticeable during the day , I have several Eufy security cameras and link three of the cameras to the lights using different colors so I know which camera was
triggered by the color of the lights when they come on , if you want outdoor lighting of this type and you already have Eufy security cameras this is the only way to go Eufy E22 outdoor lighting. 👍👍

I love Eufy products, I have 4 of their cameras and the lights sink with the motion of the cameras. 10 outta 10 recommend!
