Most people will want to buy this to heat their patio or deck. It mounts to the wall but also could be used on a stand if desired. To be clear, I did not buy 2 of these to heat a patio or deck but to heat 2 outdoor kennels for my German Shepherd Dogs, which I keep outside until it is time for bed when I bring them in the house.
Regardless of the brand, no heater of this type is going to work that well whether mounted on a wall or self standing in an open area if it is windy. That is just the way it is. If you have a partially enclosed space which blocks the wind, you will do just fine.
Now, the 2 kennels I have are open on all four sides but I have from fall to spring installed wind screens around all four sides of the kennels which are 10 ft x 10ft rectangles and 8 ft high. I have hung the heaters from the ceiling posts of the kennels and they work really well. Very easy to assemble. I have wall mounted heaters (different brand) on my deck and I can tell you that these would mount much easier than the ones I put on my deck. Piece of cake really. The package includes all of the hardware you need. I could mount these on a wall in less than 5 minutes. It took me less than that to hang them from the ceiling of the kennels.
What about the remote? It works flawlessly and for my money it is essential, not just a convenience. I do not want to walk up to the heater and to turn it on or off if I do not have to. You can do it of course, but hitting the remote is far more convenient. It is easy to operate, self intuitive. You do not need instructions to operate it.
As for heat, it has three levels. Level 1 is 900 watts, level 2 is 1200 watts and leverl 3 is 1500 watts. I find level 1 more than sufficient for temps in the 40s. I do not use it if 50 or above. (these are German Shepherd Dogs not people) That said, I am sure level one would be fine for the 50s for people. Level 2 I use for temps int he 30s. And Level 3 for the 20s and below. I have had the dogs out when the temperature was 5 degrees F and they did fine. Remember, these are infrared heaters, they heat objects not the air. So when the dogs stood or slept under the heaters, they were warm, despite the fact that air was quite cold.
I warmly, no pun intended, recommend this product. It is first class in every respect.

I am very impressed with this heater.
I originally bought a different brand because Amazon could deliver it before our outdoor Covid-19 Thanksgiving meal. It arrived on time, but was dead on arrival. Could not get it to turn on and customer service never responded to email. Back it went!
This heater arrived two days later in a very sturdy and padded box. I wish they had used something other than Styrofoam because that is not recyclable. The heater case is very stout and well put together. the mounting brackets are easy to use and they came with wall fasteners too. I like the three levels of heat, the timer and the display that tells you the heat level. My only gripe is that the remote is very flimsy. I had to hold the battery access door closed with black electrical tape. No batteries were provided either. (2- AAA)
Reading reviews it is apparent that many users had unrealistic expectations for this heater. It is not designed to heat the air in the room. It uses infra-red to heat you only it you are standing in front of it. Works great for me in my workshop as I have it pointed at where I stand at my work bench. I am toasty as long as I stand there.
Highly recommended!

Well made, straight forward install with options on how you hang it, remote control with three heat levels is very convenient. Heat output at 1500w is somewhat less than I expected. I installed in a 12’x14′ gazebo on the pool deck – heat would not project all the way across the 14′ side, had to reinstall closer to where the majority of seating occurs and aim the heating head at a more downward angle. In this manner it does take the chill out of the air, but this is Florida, so I think you would need a higher output unit or multiple units in colder climates – I would install a second unit if I could get it at the same price!

I bought this for my open, backyard, covered patio. The ceiling is ~10 ft tall. I can sit directly under the heater and feel a nice blanket of warmth at any setting L1-L3. I will say that when it gets windy out, the effectiveness lessens but that’s to be expected. If you have higher ceilings than this in an outdoor patio and/or a lot of wind passing through, you will probably be disappointed by the heat transfer.
The GOOD:
Mounting brackets while cheap are effective, easy to install and allow slight swiveling of the direction.
Does not put out tons of light, it’s very secluded looking per se. Many other models shine bright like the sun, this one does not.
Has 3 heat settings.
Has a remote control.
The BAD:
The remote control is a bit unresponsive at times and very cheaply made.
When the remote doesn’t work, there is a button on the unit but it doesn’t seem to turn it off?
The cord isn’t long so be prepared to connect an industrial extension cord + run the cord either through the ceiling of your patio or across and down the wall to an outlet without it hanging dangerously.
Wind basically kills its effectiveness.
The UNKNOWN:
Life of the unit: I’ve been using this regularly for almost a month now but making sure I use it in say 15-30 min intervals and turn it off. Hopefully it has a long life when used this way.
Withstanding weather: The heating elements are not fully enclosed within the unit. It’s an “open” heating element behind a cage situation. I live in Seattle. So I worry that natural moisture over time may break it, time will tell.
My electric bill: It will be another month of use or so before I see how much power it actually draws/how much it costs in electricity to use the unit within the manner I have.
Hopefully this review helps. I will say lastly that if it does work in your particular area, it’s way better than having to fill propane tanks every month to keep a lantern type heater alive.

I looked at a variety of reviews of this brand before buying. The reviews were overall good. Interestingly the ones that were poor tended to be buyers who don’t understand how infrared heaters work.
QUALITY. The overall quality feels good right out of the box. It was well packed. Instructions were clear.
INSTALLATION. I installed it myself in about 30 minutes. I’m 67 in moderate health so most people should be able to do it alone. However having a second person would be helpful and faster.
I installed it upside down on purpose as I needed the cord on the left side of the heater. This makes the operation notes upside down but they will peel off. It leaves the small logo upside down but you don’t notice. The display is upside down but it really doesn’t matter as there are only 3 symbols. L1, L2 and L3. So upside down they look like 17, 27, E7. No problem. Make up some silly code to impress visitors.
OPERATION. It works as described and expected. You can feel the increasing heat of each level. It is instant heat which is great. But the best comparison is still to a fire. You can stand around a campfire and your front is warm but your back is cold. This is the same thing. As long as you recognize that, you can position the heater to project heat where you want it. In my case, in the photograph, I want it on my main reading chair and on my small coffee table especially for morning.
REMOTE. The remote works very well. Simple to use.
EXTENSION CORD. My cord does reach the socket but is hanging as seen in the photo. I’ve added a 2 foot 12 gauge extension cord bought at a local big box store. About $12. This allows me to run the cord straight across and down so out of the way. Like the yellow line in the photo. I bought a 12 gauge just to be on the safe side for the amount of power being drawn. I suspect a 14 gauge would work and maybe even a 16 gauge. But for the small price difference, I’d rather go with the better cord.
POWER DRAW. I’ve not had the heater long enough to determine its impact on my heating bill. I suspect it will be minor if for no reason then I only use it when I’m there and then turn it off. I likely won’t use it in winter with minus temperatures but on those +8oC winter days, I’ll likely use it. People have warned that you can only use that on one plug and I can see that would be the case. However I’m able to use the heater of the highest setting, use both lights on my IKEA lamp (seen in photo) and use a google home device all on that same plug. The LED lights and google home don’t draw much power but it does mean I don’t have to unplug or not use those items that were already there.
FIRE POTENTIAL. My heater is not far enough down from the wood above as the requirements said. The 2×4 of the roof is only 11′ above the heating element. I thought I might have to put a piece of metal in-between. I don’t have to. The wood above gets warm to the touch but not really hot even after 3 hours of operation. You can hold the wood all day if you were so inclined. I did try a piece of metal just to see and the metal got far hotter than the wood so took the metal away. I was also afraid of the roof, with is a transparent panel, as it is only another 4″ higher but you can’t feel any heat on that panel. Also there is no heat on the wood behind the heater. The heater is well designed to thrown the heat outward.
I think this will be perfect for my use. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is that I’ve only used it so far on cool, early fall days. Once I get through some more seasons then I’ll know how efficient it is in providing heat and not at an exorbitant cost. But I am very pleased.
One disappointment: While I’d have preferred a Canadian or American product, I am disappointed to find the heater was made in China. The company says their products are engineered and designed in the USA, but don’t announce as clearly where their products are made. Those of us who support our own domestic markets and don’t want to support tyranny overseas, need to avoid buying from China and thus giving them the money to full their world agenda. If I knew this before I installed it, I would have sent it back.

We use this on our outdoor patio. The heat is instant. Super easy to use and install. I wish I could plug a few more of these, but my electrical breakers wouldn’t handle it. It is great to the persons directly next/under it. I would love to have a few of these for each primary seating areas.
My only wish, would be that that turn off timer could be a default. If you forget to set the timer and forget to turn it off, it stays on. I would love for it to just turn off after say, 2 hours.

Works perfectly. Ease of installation. Great value for the money. Perfect heat balance ratio.
