I know they can fade the lights: green fades in and blue fades out. But my peace is disturbed by the abrupt transition from green to (purple to) blue. Mildly startling. In my head I hear a click every time.
Otherwise this is SO MUCH SUPERIOR electronically to the competitors. It is rechargible, the latest models charge with a USB-C, it has an “easier” 5-5 mode that you click through to get to 4-7-8 (which is very useful if you are having a panic attack), the timing is accurate, it has an auto shut off, and it has two brightness modes. Right now competitors only have A COUPLE of these features!
I won’t take a star for the fact I don’t like the fat buddha (because you can buy another model and switch the internals easy). I won’t take a star because the whole thing can come apart with a gentle squish. Kids can’t hurt themselves on the internals anyways (good move). But I will take two stars because competitors’ crossfading is so much more peaceful.

This is a great product for anyone who wants to spend some time being mindful and learn meditative breathing patterns. The Buddha itself is super cute and I leave it on my desk as a reminder to take a couple of minutes each day to practice being present. I do wish there were more than 2 breathing patterns to choose from, but it works great for a beginner like me.

I started meditating over a decade ago. Intermittent in the beginning, progressing deeper and finding new joys over time. With Breathing Buddha, the last thoughts have dropped away as counting breath always seemed to keep me conscious of, well, counting. Granted, I have always dropped the counting after a handful of breathes, but Breathing Buddha has made for a delightful transition as I realize it don’t have to count at all. I originally bought Breathing Buddha to see if it would be a good gift for a Teen in the family who could benefit from the focus, calm, centering and self determination that meditation can bring you. It is a lovely concept, well executed, and very easy to start using. I think it might give my Teen grand-niece a new tool to achieve self awareness goals and beyond. If she responds in a positive way and benefits from this tool, I’ll be buying more for others in my world who are meditation curious.

In the quick start guide it mentions to use the arrow buttons to adjust day/hour/minutes to set the timer to your desired length – I’ve looked everywhere on this thing and I am unable to find these arrow buttons. It also states at the top of this page that it ‘reminds us to pause daily’. How does it remind us, is this false advertising or have I lost the plot? I think this one will be sent back, to be honest.

This is super easy to use and reminds me to do breathing exercises several times a day. It’s really cute too!

It is what it is described to be ! I’m very happy with my purchase 🙂. The only downside is the hole they design for the Buddha to be charged is a little bit difficult I find 😂. But still manageable.

I bought this product to use at work for my self and for people I meet with and loved it to so much that started buying it for gifts. People, who tried it at my office also loved it and bought it for themselves and others. Aesthetically Buddha brings a zen feel to the space. And then, magic starts when you turn it on: colors are mesmerizing and meditative. Following the colors with the breath gets you into calmer state pretty quickly. You can feel your mind calming down and you feel like a brand new person after just a few breaths. Also the battery holds pretty long: I charge it maybe once a month if that. I strongly recommend this product if you’d like to have a calmer mind.

I use this breathing Buddha in the sauna and it’s a great conversation starter. 20 miniutes three times a week and it aids my breathing and Heart Rate Variability. Cannot recommend it enough!

This is cute.. but so expensive for what it is. Would honestly not recommend.

I originally bought him for my partner’s mom for anxiety and thought he was so cute, I got him for myself. I am in love with him, the texture is so nice and he’s so cute and the colors are so calming. I like to hold him while I do the breathing. I brought him over to comfort a grieving friend who loved it so much, I told her to keep it. So, naturally I got myself another. And just bought my 4th one to send to another friend. I feel like it’s a really cool and easy tool to use to self-regulate especially for people who have a hard time doing it all mentally without physical objects (me even though I am a therapist). Love him and will continue to spread!

C’est cher pour qu’est-ce que ça fait mais c’est pratique pour faire de la cohérence cardiaque.
