This kit is truly an all in one. You don’t need to buy different tools to manscape. It’s easy to use, it looks good, and it’s a great price for all it offers. The blades are also super sharp and saves so much time getting things done.

I decided to change my old trimmer I’ve been using for the last ten years or so. I wanted something I can use for my body, face and head (in this order of priority) and after some research I came to the conclusion that Braun series 9 will do the job.
My first disappointment with it came when I opened the manual and found out that Braun doesn’t think the balls are part of man’s body. All-in-one, Braun?!? But don’t use it on the delicate areas? Really? Isn’t that exactly why I ordered something boldly named All-in-one?
Then comes the body attachment itself – it has a plastic body and metal blade with a gap of at least half a millimeter between them. Needless to say the hair gets in the gap and inside the attachment where it gets stuck in the lubricant and can potentially block the whole thing.
The motor is clearly underpowered and the results show it clearly – I had to repeat some areas several times to get satisfactory result. At the end it took me maybe twice as long as with my old trimmer which I will probably continue using even though I cut myself too often with it.
Which I can also say about the Braun – it managed to cut me on a flat area during the first use.
It doesn’t end here though. The blade got very hot after less than ten minutes of use so I had to switch to another attachment to give the one for the body time to cool down. And that’s the first use with the blade lubricated by the producer!
The unit itself is made of cheap looking plastic and doesn’t feel solid in hand.
In a nutshell that’s the first and last Braun I’m buying!

There are more accessories than I need. But the blade, oh wow, the blade is sharp gives me a clean trim with no knicks. Battery holds for a long time, and motor us powerful and provides consistent speed.

I found myself with too many gadgets for grooming (beard trimmer, regular trimmer, nose, etc). As most eventually failed (battery), I decided to give this one a try. Thus far the results are solid. It is very effective as a beard trimmer with both a large and small guard, depending on beard size. My only lament is the mess it makes as my other trimmer had a handy vacuum to pick up most trimmings in flight.
The case and accessories make for a nice package and do the job well. Battery life seems great right now. Definitely recommend.

This trimmer works really well. It trimmed my beard/moustache quickly, and evenly. It charges quickly on and easy-to-use charging stand. A feature that would make sense is a USB charger instead of one with an A/C adapter permanently attached, as this one is.
The downside is that this trimmer comes with an enormous array of widgets, with no clear instructions on how to use them. I was hopeful that the QR code would take me to some detailed online instructions, but all it did was bring up the Braun sales page. The instruction booklet is small, with tiny illustrations, and no verbiage. I get that Braun was hoping to avoid a multi-language brochure, but clearer instructions would be helpful.
Works! –
The motor is strong and there are multiple blades and guards for full body grooming. I use this groomer for my beard and to shave my head and the battery charge lasts me around 5-6 days between charges which is great since I use the groomer daily! The only criticism I have with this kit is the case. The case does not fit all of the different attachments and guards so if you travel a lot and need all the attachments you might need to invest in a better case. The case is adequate, however, if you only need to carry along 2-3 different attachments.

I have gone through many trimmers over the years from different brands, but this braun really sets itself apart from the rest. It is lightweight, has a great charge capacity, has all the attachments you can imagine and does a good job which is the most important.
I wish I bought this brand years ago…
