Being far sighted for some time, reading glasses are a must. Clics are without a doubt the best solution I have ever found. I tried the kind you wear around your neck on a chain and these are much better. I put them on in the morning and always have them with me. Normally, they just hang around my neck (don’t even know they are there) and when I need them, I just pull them up and click them together. They are very durable, don’t seem to scratch easily, are comfortably to wear and are always with me.

I’ve been fighting with reading glasses since I reached the age where they became a necessity. 15 or so years I guess, you’d think I’d have figured them out…..

I’d seen the CliC advertisements but the cost held me at bay until now. My frustration got the better of me and decided to make the leap. I had hoped it would be the solution to my reading glasses dilemma.

I do like them. I think they are an interesting design and are a better quality than most drug store / Walmart readers. Unfortunately for me, they do seem to have an obstacle or 2 for me to figure out.

I’m often in the middle of a task when the realization hits that it would be a lot easier if I put on my readers. Both hands are busy maybe holding a wire and some leads, emptying one hand to put on my readers is possible but both hands isn’t practical in the moment. These glasses, at least for me without smudging up a lens is a somewhat difficult one handed operation. I’ve tried to practice putting them on one handed and I’m confident it can be done by someone more graceful than myself, for me it appears to be a task ideally done with 2 hands. I need to plan accordingly…

I purchased a pair with the rigid neck loop thing and I do love the fact that it keeps the glasses close at hands, and I have not dropped them in the couple of weeks I have had them. The down side and really not the fault of the glasses, I wear a steadily growing somewhat bushy beard which I oil to try to reign it in so of course the glasses end up hanging in said beard and occasionally get some beard oil on the lenses. The other problem is I have tended to wear my readers down on my nose and look over top of them when not actually reading. This is possible with my CliC readers but it sort of requires the maximum length of the glasses and loop. If I then need to look up and work on something overhead (shocking how often I do this) I will will pass those limits and the magnet seperates letting the glasses into my waiting beard…..

I really do think these are a good product that I situationally ask a lot out of. Maybe I’ll get better at manipulating them to my needs. They are still, currently, my favorite pair of readers…. I love not dropping them soooo much.

My husband loves these and says he can even lay down in the recliner and they don’t bother him.
Great invention since he always lays his down everywhere and can’t find them

My husband won’t wear any other glasses. People always ask him where he gets them. He always credits me and Amazon. I would prefer if they came in a larger size.

So I have an older pair of Clic’s that are not blue lense but it’s understandable since I purchased them before that came to be. I paid $45 for a new pair of Clic’s XL executive & they are also NOT computer screen protectant. For that amount I could’ve purchased 3-4 “cheap” readers that would be useful in the office. This is why they are not great, they are good but maybe to work around the house or when shopping but definitely not for screen time.

My husband wears them constantly around his neck. Be sure to check the size. These fit well but the first I ordered were too tight.

I go through readers like crazy because they fall off my head or slip out of my pocket/shirt. I needed something better besides adding a long chain where they’d flop around and get in the way. These are perfect and you’ll get many compliments on how cool they split apart.

I saw these on American Pickers and in the Mindy Project before and thought they looked pretty cool, but I didn’t need readers then. Fast forward a few years and post-eye surgery, where my distance vision was fixed at the expense of near vision. I got a nice prescription pair of progressive glasses but lost those. I bought readers from the store, Amazon and the dollar store, but they’d drop and break or get scratched — especially when working on projects around the house.

I tried the regular, but they were too tight. The XLs are perfect — and they’re adjustable. They hang on your neck just below your collar line and are out of the way if you carry something against your body. You pull them up, pull them apart and put them together on your nose. The magnet is strong enough that it’ll pull together when its close.

People love it when they see you split them and put them on. My dentist is a convert since she was just amazed at how they worked. I could see it being super helpful in her profession.
