Although the Newton mattress is washable I do like having the mattress protector on it. It has saved our mattress many times from accidents and occasional stomach bug. The mattress protector is easy to wash and has held it shape overtime. This is the second protector I have ordered for our second baby, we’re a big fan of newton!

Purchased for 2nd crib to go over regular Newton mattress. The waterproof liner has held up to accidents thrown its way, is easy to wash, & fit over mattress when clean instead of having to zip up like regular Newton waterproof mattress. We are comfortable with the breathability of the product for our newborn & toddler.

We purchased the Newton mattress and tried purchasing other waterproof mattress protectors to save money but none are as breathable as this brand. If you want a protector that you can feel safe having your infant sleep on, knowing if they roll they will be able to breathe through it I’d say it’s worth the extra cost.

Great product – super quick delivery! Have used this on top of a normal cot mattress and yes it’s still breathable. Have paired this with a muslin fitted sheet.

Bought this for a friend off her registry. She is picky about items for her baby, so if she wanted this it must be good! She said it worked well and that the fabric and zipper were a good quality.
She said it fit the intended mattress well and had decent padding so it’s hopefully comfy for the baby!
I thought it was expensive but based on the quality my friend described it seems like a fair price.

My baby started stomach sleeping at a really young age so I bought this mattress protector. It is incredible. I tested it on a regular crib mattress with a sheet over top and I can breathe easily with my face pressed into the mattress. I can now sleep better at night knowing my baby can breathe well.

Fits the Newton mattress perfectly, cushy and quality made, but it’s not the softest to skin. I suggest using a breathable muslin fitted sheet over it.

My husband and I purchased the Newton mattress for our baby and also an additional cover in case we had to change it due to the baby either spitting up or having a pooping incident. I noticed that the additional cover did not have a waterproof cover like the original cover that came with the mattress. I was a bit disappointed because it would be easier to just by the cover with it attached but Newton doesn’t give that option. So I came across this pad. At first, I was hesitant to get it because it has to go over the cover that I purchase but when they stated that it was still breathable, I decided to give it a try. Works just like the original cover! Our baby doesn’t even notice the difference and still sleeps well. The only thing I am not crazy about is that the tags are visible and once my baby can crawl around the crib, I am worried that my baby might want to play with it or put it in their mouth but I can decide then to cut the tags off.

If you are at the stage where your child is rolling over and getting stuck on their belly at night, by this. It gave us so much peace of mind to add on top of our ikea mattress! It is extremely easy to throw in the washer too! It is stiffer than the mattress that we had but this probably increases the safety of it!
