Well, 20 lbs is A LOT, BUT, I was tired of going to grocery store and buy smaller bags of this mix. Buying 20 lbs here cost a LOT LESS than smaller bags in what seems like one every 2 weeks at the grocery store.
I now have 6 1/2 Gallon baggies full of this. YEAH, it should last a long time! Exactly the mix I was hoping it was. My squirrels, doves , robins and some others seem to love it. Will definitely buy again.

This bird seed is good for the price and has brought some pretty birds to my backyard. I was hoping for many birds to visit my feeder with this seed, but It doesn’t seem to bring a whole lot of different birds. I have gotten cardinals and finches and woodpeckers, but I was hoping for more of a variety. nonetheless, I think this bird seed it pretty good. There is a good amount of black oil sunflower seeds and I have not found any sticks or twigs in it which is a plus. I have noticed that the birds eat every seed and don’t waste any which is another plus. I think this is a decent wild bird seed.

Best blend I have found- and reasonably priced too. Doesn’t clog my feeder and has a variety of seed, corn and sunflower. I see Goldfinches, Sparrows, Titmouses, Cardinals, wrems. Cowbirds, red-winged blackbirds, even woodpeckers – and an occasional bluebird.

Purchased my first bird feeder and placed it in the backyard. Within a week, I had finches, sparrows, blue jays, cardinals, and morning doves. Unfortunately, it also attracted the local squirrels. I blame my bird feeder for not being as squirrel proof as I thought. I have refilled my bird feeder twice this week already!

I didn’t think it would make a difference as the birds stopped by on a daily basis with grocery store seeds, but now we have the busiest Bird-Port in the neighborhood! They love it, cheep or sing when the feeders are empty, and bring us presents! At least, I’d like to think the solo leaf or stick and occasional empty coconut left on our doorstep are positive reviews…

I recently purchased Wagner’s 62004 Eastern Regional Wild Bird Food, and it has been a hit with the local bird population in my backyard.

One of the standout features of this bird food is its carefully selected blend that caters specifically to the bird species native to the Eastern region. It includes a variety of seeds such as sunflower seeds, safflower seeds, cracked corn, millet, and milo, all of which are known to attract a diverse array of birds.

The quality of the seeds is impressive. They are fresh and clean, ensuring that I’m providing nutritious food that birds enjoy. I’ve noticed an increase in bird activity since I started using this blend, with a variety of species including cardinals, chickadees, finches, and sparrows visiting regularly.

The 20-pound bag size is perfect for regular feeding without constant trips to the store. The packaging is sturdy and resealable, which helps keep the seeds fresh and protected from moisture.

Another great aspect of Wagner’s bird food is that it minimizes waste. The blend is designed to be appealing to birds without leaving behind a lot of discarded hulls or uneaten seeds, which means less mess under the feeders.

Overall, Wagner’s 62004 Eastern Regional Wild Bird Food has exceeded my expectations. It’s a high-quality blend that attracts a wide variety of birds, provides excellent nutrition, and is convenient to use. If you’re looking to attract Eastern regional birds to your yard and enjoy watching them thrive, I highly recommend giving this bird food a try.

Many of the mixes, even locally purchased, contain why too much millet and/or sunflower seeds. The birds in our area (Blue Ridge Mountains in NE NC) love the mix. We have mostly small birds and this has mostly small seeds, but enough sunflower seeds to keep the cardinals around.

I have a squirrel proof birth feeder. The birds
(Doves. Black Birds, Cardinals, Sparrows, Wild Parakeets) apparently love it. My feeder empties within a half hour. Of course some spills on my the ground. Good price. Fresh.
