Yaheetech 52-Inch Wrought Steel Bird Cage Description

  • Ultrastrong Construction: Our extra large bird cage is crafted out of premium metal covered with antirust hammered paint. Welded frame and excellent rust and water resistance make this parrot cage a durable and safe pet home.
  • Safe & Secure: Front doors are secured with latches, which can prevent your smart birdies from opening the doors, keeping them safe in the cage when you are not around.
  • Convenient Moving: Due to its extra large size, it may take a little effort to move this cage. However, our parrot cage that sits on 4 heavy duty rolling casters has perfectly solved this problem.
  • Easy Cleaning: A slide-out tray covered with waterproof paint can be removed and cleaned with water, making cleaning a breeze. A grate between birds and the tray can avoid your pets walking directly on their droppings.
  • Free Accessories: 3 polished wooden perches provide sufficient place for your birds to rest and stand. 4 plastic feeders can serve your pets with water and different seeds.

Beautiful cage and it will be perfect for my Green Cheek Conure who is not fully tame. My Sun Conure has a cage by the same company, only it opens at the top to free the beast. I have had cages from this company before with previous birds, and they have always worked beautifully.

Assembly took my husband about 30 minutes but we had one problematic screw, replaced with a spare that was sent. Other than for one piece he assembled it on his own and on a very hot day. Once I have it set up, and if I remember to, I will update with photos.

Got this cage when we decided to add a second cockatiel to the family. It’s even bigger than we imagined when fully assembled, lots of room for perches and toys and other enrichment. Our birds absolutely love it, they have so much freedom to move around and play. My only complaint is that the assembly instructions are pictures only, and are printed very small and hard to see. It’s easy enough to figure out how to assemble, especially if you’ve assembled this type of cage before, but better instructions would be good for first time bird owners.

Good size and really good price. Sturdy. Wish the doors were a little bit bigger and latched differently

I really like the cage it’s big and nice. The only issue I had was package came in damage and the cage was a little bent. Other than that, I like the size of the cage it was ease to assemble.

I purchased this cage for two cockatiels as a replacement for their two separate 20″x20″x32″ cages. I am very impressed by how much more useable space my birds have in this cage compared to their previous set up. This cage has a smaller footprint than I anticipated while providing much more room for the animals. The flat ‘roof’ also provides a lot of space for the birds to hang out on, as they spend about as much time climbing along the outside of the cage as they do inside of it. Their only downside is that they cannot climb up and down the legs of this cage as they could with their previous cages.

I was able to assemble this by myself in a little over an hour as an average middle aged woman who is not particularly mechanically inclined. It definitely would have gone faster with a second set of hands to hold pieces steady when connecting them, but it was not vital to the construction process. Admittedly the instructions are not the greatest (graphic/image only, no words), but I only once had to remove a piece that I initially installed facing the wrong way. The cage was very well packaged upon arrival and it was easy to match up the pieces to the instructions to verify that all pieces were in the box. There were also two extra bolts included in case of dropping/losing some during construction.

I am very happy with how solid this cage is. I don’t have any concerns about pieces bending or warping. The bottom plastic tray is a bit thinner than I expected, but that does make it lighter to move in and out of position when cleaning the cage. Overall, this cage is the same level of quality as cages I have previously owned from Prevue Pet and A&E. I would not hesitate to buy another cage from this brand.

I got the cage today and I’m impressed! My only two major complaints are the door latches suck, but they’re chained to the bars so you don’t lose them, and the cage was a complete bear to start putting together. Once it was started, it was easy to do. Most people would probably want help holding things in place. A minor complaint is that the tray is cheaper plastic. Otherwise, VERY GOOD for its price. The bars are wider but not too wide, have a lot of room, and takes a wipe with a cloth to clean. The cage is lower, but it’s what I prefer as my bird cage is beside my computer desk and I like not having to look up all the time. I would definitely get a second cage like this if I ever get more birds 🙂 .

This is a lovely cage. It was very easy to assemble (even with just one person), no tools necessary. It seems sturdy and is at a very affordable price point. I also really appreciate the built in shelf under the cage. I do have a few complaints: – The tray at the bottom (to catch droppings) is made from plastic and seems pretty flimsy. I would’ve preferred it to be made of metal or even a more rigid plastic. – There are only two doors, both at the front of the cage, though they do both have built in locks which is nice. – I’m not a fan of the “extras” that came with it, because the even wood perches aren’t good for bird’s feet, but I understand that most cages come with these. I would just recommend buying natural perches.
Overall, I’m satisfied with this cage, and it will be a mansion for my cockatiel.

Cage is good for the price, it is sturdy and not too difficult to put together. Instructions could probably be more detailed, as there are no numbers labeled on any of the pieces. I have my 2 budgies in the cage currently, and it is definitely big enough for them both to be comfortable in together. Plenty of space. The food bowls aren’t very big, but I will probably just use them for when I give them their treats. I love the wheels on this cage also, very easy to move around.

I bought this to upgrade my cockatiel cage and I am really impressed! It is made of very heavy, sturdy metal and came with 4 food and water dishes and 3 full length perches. It was a bit difficult to put together by myself but the instructions were easy to follow, it is just heavy and big so an extra set of hands may be useful. I switched the two bottom trays so the bars are underneath the plastic tray – this gives the plastic more support and lets my bird forage in the bottom of the cage. It also makes it easier to clean when I can just reach in and scoop out the soiled shredded paper each day and replace it without removing the whole tray.
Overall, my bird loves his new cage and it gives me plenty of options for adding structures and toys to keep him busy!

I ordered this page immediately after ordering the 64-in cage. I planned on using the 64 inch until I learned that you need a flight cage.
So, since it’s a third party seller I couldn’t cancel the 64-in cage, but I could refuse delivery. Anyway, I decided to keep the 64 inch cage for when I get more parakeets I can quarantine them in that or if I have somebody taking care of them for me it’s a good cage to send along to someone’s home in a pinch.
Anyway, the 64-in cage I was going to refuse delivery on because it was due to be here May 30th and then they sent me a text at 11:00 p.m. on May 30th that it would be arriving by June 11th. United States Post Office was handling that delivery. Post office where I live is incompetent. I’ve never made complaints but I probably should. I won’t though.
This cage is fantastic! It went together easily all by my lonesome. I didn’t have two hands extra hands helping.
I do wish it had more doors but the doors are quite large and fine. I removed the chains that holds the door lock in place. I read on another review where the people said it was a possible danger to the birds. And I believe that to be true. Please you should remove those chains. Dangerous. The birds could hang themselves from it.
Anyway, this cage was set to be delivered tuesday, but late Tuesday night almost midnight I received a notice that it would be here by June 8th. I waited two more days as they kept saying it will be delivered today by 8:00 p.m. finally they delivered it I think it was the third day might have been the second. Anyway, that was FedEx handling this delivery.
Now I do live in the middle of nowhere. So that could be the reason for the holdup with fedex. They might not wish to come all the way out here from their location and Knightdale to my location in Kenly. I think it’s about 35 mi.
I contacted the seller a couple of times & they were quick to respond and I appreciate them very much. I would definitely purchase from this store again!
