My keets love this! I have 2 and they started fighting over this so now I have to keep two blocks in the cage. It took them a couple of days to get interested in it, but once they did, wow! Now they hardly ever touch their cuttlebone, it’s mineral block all the way. I’m happy they’re getting their calcium, so it’s win-win.

My canary hopped up and began nibbling this as soon as I put it in his cage. Time will tell if he keeps using it but I was surprised to see him take an interest in it so quickly because he’s so picky.

I was unsure about buying this item but I thought I’d try it for my parakeet. Well, he absolutely loves it! He is always chewing on it, he gets a treat and it helps keep his beak trimmed. Glad I bought it.

My moustache parakeet never showed any interest in mineral blocks until I gave her this one. She absolutely loves this! She gets very excited when she runs across a bit of mealworm. It only lasts her a week or so, so we’re going to get her the bigger blocks of this flavor from now on.

Pro tip: mount your bird’s mineral block over their food dish so bits of powder fall into their food.

But she is a very fussy eater. I leave it, cuttlebone and a lava beak conditioner, for honing her beak, in her cage.

My canary is usually pretty adventurous it’s not shy and when I put something new in his cage he goes to it right away and checks it out. For some reason this had no appeal for him and left it in there for a month I thought perhaps he develop an interest in it but he never has. It’s hard to tell what will appeal to your pet.

Our 2 parakeets find this satisfying to chew on, each time (it seems) they go to 1 end of their perch, they compete to gind their beaks on it. The calcium is so good for them & tasty – if you’re into mealworms — which they are. Love this product, keeps them healthy. Thank you for offering it.
