My outdoor cat likes to come indoor sometimes, so I bought him a play mouse to keep him interested in rodents instead of songbirds and chickens. He right away pounced on this toy and rolled around with it. My little 7 lb, doggie likes it too! I sprayed some catnip on it just for fun, even after my cat pounched on it.
The high-pitched squeak in it really gets the cat going! Highly recommend!!

This is my favorite kitty boy’s game. He takes it with him everywhere, he even plays it next to it when he goes to use the litter box to make sure it never escapes lol
It has a sound in it that’s similar to squeaking which immediately captures cats’ attention. The sound goes really weak and barely hearable after using the toy for about a year, but I think the main reason for that isn’t the duration but because my cat plays with it all the time and we throw the toy around aggressively.
The size is suitable for an adult cat, it might be a bit big for a kitten, but it’s not too big, it’s like the size of a standard iPhone. Which I like, the size is perfect for a mouse toy, not too small like most toys I tried.

Omg, my fur babies absolutely love this thing. It is great exercise! My kitten was having so much fun with it, she had to lie down for a few minutes to catch her breath LOL definitely recommend.

This is the cat’s favorite toy.
The reason why this is the cat’s favorite toy is because it’s a ball hanging on stretchy string, from a bendy plastic thing, secured by a door.
The cat loves it because when it pulls the ball and lets go the stretchy skin snaps tight and the ball richochets back and forth against the door (and a multi-foot radius around the door) like it’s a racquetball game!!!
This is a fantastic pet toy. But trust me: DO NOT put it near shelves with anything breakable! Make sure there is at LEAST a several foot radius around the door of stuff this can’t knock off a shelf!

My bengal usually plays with something for five minutes and then walks away. I have to hide a toy for weeks so it’s new again, when she’ll be interested in it again. For five minutes. This mouse is different. She’ll play with it for a long time and when she’s done, I put it away. The next day, it’s like a new toy for her again.
Regarding durability, it will depend on your cat. My sister’s cat plays with it gently and walks around the house with the mouse in her mouth. Her mice have lasted for months and still squeak. My bengal tries to beat the stuffing out of it. She tosses it into the air and pounces on it when it lands. But, I don’t blame the manufacturer if she tears the mouse open after a few weeks, because she’s very rough with it. It lasts long enough to make the purchase worthwhile and today I’m ordering 6 more because there’s no other toy out there that keeps her so occupied for so long. It provides exercise for her and great entertainment for us.

Honestly, my dog love them and they kept her busy for hours the day I gave them to her. I know it’s a toy for cats, but for whatever reason my dog loves these toy mice. She would pick these mice to play with over her other doggy toys. She also pretty rough with her toys; she will kick them around, chew them, toss it up in the air and pounce on them. So definitely very durable and well worth the money. Only negative I have to is not the best toy for when your trying to sleep in the evening…the squeaking will drive you nuts.

So my cat Luna is very picky when it comes to toys. A lot of things just don’t provide her with enough stimulation or excitement to make her even remotely interested in playing.
There is only 1 other toy she plays with other than these mice and she only plays on average with it once a month while she plays with these mice daily. She has literally every toy she could want because I spoil her like crazy!
She loves bringing these little mice to bed with her. She will bring them especially when I am gone for the day and she misses me ill find them under my covers when I get home. I’ve found them in the bathtub. She’s played with them running up and down the hall batting them or carrying them in her mouth.
These are her absolute favorite thing in the world.
I am gutted because I accidentally washed a load of laundry with them in it because she sometimes hides them in my laundry hamper and I forgot to check so I had to order them again. She’s had these ones for about a year and the squeak still works so I haven’t needed to replace them but these little guys do not like the washing machine.
They are electronic so I’m not surprised which is why my rating remains at 5 stars.
I brought the mouse up from the wash and gave it back to her. It works fine now…but….
So let’s address what happens when you wash these things.
First of all as I was loading my laundry into the dryer I heard an ongoing beeping like an alarm.
I kept searching for the source of the noise and discovered the mouse. It would not stop. It sounded literally like one of those cheap house alarms you have to turn off whenever you open the door or it’ll just go off and never stop. It was so loud which is not a noise I thought these little things could make because the chirp isn’t horribly loud. It can get annoying in the middle of the night when your trying to sleep but it’s not terrible.
So I smacked it a few times off the edge of the washer trying to shut it up.
That actually worked surprisingly.
It still squeaks just fine and my cat is playing with it now.
The reason I said these things don’t like the washer is because of the incessant sound it made before I smacked it against the machine.
Honestly it’s a quality product and the only reason I’m buying more is because she loves them so much and in case next time I can’t fix it. Cause if I can’t fix it I’m chucking it outside.

My cat loves these. We call it Teddy because he carries it around in his mouth, leaves him in the food bowl. The part where it hangs from the door snaps fairly quickly after kitty gets to pulling on him. First it just keeps popping out and eventually it breaks. But I still use it to entertain them. Running around with it and they chase it. And then eventually the new Teddy smell wears off and it’s ho hum. Probably bought 10 plus of these over the years. Doesn’t say much about the durability of the product but at least it entertains them quite a bit for a week or so.
