Great little kitty box fits nicely in small spaces. Perfect for my one average sized kitty but the big one tipped it while in use and was quite surprised.

I have one weird corner between the door and the closet in my cat room that miss drama *insisted* was a peepee zone so i gave in to her demands and added this second litter box to her room. For reference, the kitty pictured is about 8-9lbs so not massive but not a teeny guy.
she tends to crouch on the edge of her boxes for urinating and often tips this one over when she does use it and other times she just pees directly next to it. so unfortunately we had to upgrade to a larger box from this one which makes walking through the doorway a bit awkward but it’s worth it not having to change out the large washable pee pads every other day.

overall i would recommend this to petite cats. it’s pretty sturdy plastic and the rounded corners make the weekly full-clean easier.

Bought this for our two bunnies but was surprised that it wasn’t as big as we thought. The outer edge is large enough but the sides slant inwards taking away precious space. Our bunnies don’t like to use it because it’s too small.

It’s a just fine litter box. Mine came in a royal blue. It is a bit taller on the side and the back, which helps. But the main reason I bought it was so that I could get it delivered in the Amazon cardboard box. That’s the secret! Keep the litter box inside the Amazon box and that makes the sides high enough to catch all that flung litter!

FYI, I needed to put the cardboard box into the cat litter “house” that I have and the box was a bit too long. So I cut it in half and then slid the two pieces of the box into each other to make the box shorter.

The litter scooper is the Duranimals (best scooper ever made) and with the shape of this litter box it fits perfectly in the corner inside the box. My favorite litter is the brand that starts with Fresh St**. I only ever use the unscented low dust formula as this is better for my breathing and my cats.

I have a pretty big kitty who is super fluffy and this litter box is a good size for him. I erred and also bought the medium size but that’s really only for kittens. This is what you need for a full sized cat.

Oh, one extra tip! I just bought one of those honeycomb cat litter mats and it is like a dream come true! Between the high litter box, the cardboard box, and that mat, I have cut litter tracking down to a bare minimum on hard wood floors!

(Try to find a honeycomb May that doesn’t come all folded though, I got two and the folded one just isn’t flattening out well. See my other reviews I’m about to write).

If you really want to get creative you could decorate the cardboard box too and make this all really look great! Ooh! I might get some nice contact paper and try that! That would be cool!

I hope this review helps someone. I spent way too long trying to decide which litter box to buy. And yes, I paid for this. I don’t know who gets all that stuff for free.

This is a basic litter box, made of good plastic and of good height to reduce spill-outs. I recommend a mat underneath to catch whatever falls out and to avoid the box from shifting, especially on ceramic or hardwood floors. Size is adequate for a normal size adult cat.
