I like the pump for all the reasons its used for but when you have anything above 20 gal’s, time for something more powerful. Must be cleaned every week.

This circulates the water, filters it, adds awesome bubbles, and couldn’t be easier to use! We don’t even have anything at the bottom of the tank. A smooth rhythm of cycling water slowly spinning the water in the tank.

I have a smaller model of this filter for my fish and got this one for my turtle. While it worked it was great. But after 2 months the motor no longer works. I’ve troubleshooted every other part of it, including the impeller, which is clear of any debri. It does not make any noise or vibration, so it must be the motor. Was not able to return because it worked for the first month. This is unfortunate.

I’ve tried a handful of filters for our 90 gallon tank. This filter is THE BEST filter we’ve ever used! My favorite part is that it’s quiet AND incredibly effective!

I have two turtles and a indoor pond and this filter is the only one that is easy to use and cleans the pond. I bought submersible filters in the past I have not worked this good. My power goes out for a couple seconds once in awhile and those other filters we’re hard to restart this is the easiest one it is unplug it plug it back in and it works I would definitely recommend this product

Directions are not readable because someone from China tried to use Google Translate. This piece of junk lasted 3 total hours. Don’t waste your time or money

I’m kinda disappointed that the pump died. I thought I finally found an inexpensive fluval knockoff. Too bad the pump didn’t even last a year. Anyway while it was working this was one of the easiest to clean filters I’ve ever owned. Also even though the suction doesn’t, “seem” as good as a similar pump HOB filter its because the suction surface area is more spread out. This thing definitely took in and kept poo particles really well when it was working. Ever since I bought it in April though it made an annoying rattle sound(impeller always looked fine with no chips when I checked so idk why it did that). I’m not gonna buy another one since it couldn’t make it half a year even at this price point.

Iv had this in my tank just over a week and my tank is all cloudy says it can filter upto 70 gallons Mines a 60 gallon. I had to put my other filter back on because my tank is so cloudy and my fish are not looking well! Not impressed at all! If my fish dies thats alot of money wasted!!! Iv had my fish for a couple years now! They were fine till I put this piece of crap in! The video was the day I put it in you can see how clear the tank is till now!! I will be requesting my money back 100%

Very pleased with this pump. Using it in my 20gallon tank. Does the job perfectly.

It’s shape makes it easy to hide behind decor which was important for use in a giant fish bowl.
The unit is silent however the instructions for the outlets are unreadable so it’s sort of a guess.
The access to the inner filtration could be easier as well (I’m assuming you have to mess with the plastic tabs) not as straight forward as it could be but the price was right and the specific functions this model had for a minimalist aesthetic were appreciated.

This filter is exactly as advertised and surprisingly powerful! I tested it in a 5 gallon bucket that I was quarantining some snails in and it was kind of a disaster because the output is VERY powerful. I’m actually using it in a paludarium with 40 gallons of water, there is some other filtration and the tank has a really low bioload so I wasn’t worried about this being perfect but it’s actually holding up really well! The tank has cycled nicely and this thing is as strong as ever. It can clog relatively easily but it’s also easy to clear out debris. The intake doesn’t feel strong even though the flow is so strong coming out. If you have creatures that would be sensitive to the output I would definitely recommend putting a sponge or something similar over the output to diffuse the stream a little bit.
The directions about the different nozzles were very difficult to interpret. Personally I didn’t care about the oxygenation option or the wave (?) feature but it took a lot of googling to understand how the oxygenation feature worked (it is simple and pretty neat), and I still don’t understand the wave thing. Doesn’t matter to me, but just fyi.
It’s also a little difficult to take the filter apart because you have to press on multiple tabs and pull fairly forcefully, but it can be done and I haven’t had to take it apart often so it’s okay with me.
Overall, I’m very happy with this filter. Like some other people have mentioned, the fact that the compartments are able to be taken apart means that you can upgrade this filter from the sponges it comes with really easily. I’m planning to add charcoal to the filter soon.

It is a great product but, I don’t like the feeling of the items and the the cheep quality but…. It’s worth the price.
It is being used for a crayfish (at the end of vid that’s normal it likes it’s bubbles)
I guess it works for what I need it to do.
