A must buy for your arboreal tarantulas as babies or absolutely perfect for jumping spiders. Nothing bigger than 5 inches. No reptiles please people!!!!

I bought this for my son’ jumping spider and it it has quite a few gaps around the door. The airholes were also quite large and I worried the spider may get out. I was able to hot glue 2 layers of tulle fabric over the airholes to prevent escapes and I added a strip of tape along the door top and bottom on each side to create a flap of tape to fill the gaps. Once that was done this case was perfect for the spider. He is quite small and so far no escape. I like that it is glass and has a sealed bottom as I do keep live plants in this and water them so knowing it wont leak is great. He likes to hang out at th very top of the terrarium so I can open and close the door without distrubing him. If it wasnt for the door gaps, 10/10. I do wish it had been less expensive. We bought a signifcantly bigger one at Petco with decorations and substrate included for $5 more so maybe closer to $20 would have been good for this product, especially since it required modifcation.

We love these! Now have 4. Won’t hold an itty bitty sling…but houses our small/med jumpers and other species just fine! Looks really nice too!

This was such a great purchase for our jumping spider.

I love this little enclosure. Its a perfect size for my regal jumper. Its very good quality. Others mention the door gap and big vent holes. Not a big deal if you put the proper size spider or other critter in here. If your spider is small enough to fit through the vent holes or door gap, then it should still be kept in a little deli cup anyway.

It’s a perfect little set up for our new jumping spider we are picking up next week. We had a little bit of cracking on the one side plastic vent but nothing major that would cause issues. Love that it’s glass(other than the plastic vents). Well constructed and worth the money spent

I like this so much that I just came back to buy another one for my other jumper. Looks great, well built, excellent view inside from all angles, and not much exposed metal on the inside. It could be flipped to bioactive if I ever decide to make the change. I also appreciate the door latch – my current magnetic doors tend to startle my spoods when closing, even when I try to go slow.
The price is better than any acrylic enclosure I was considering, and no goofy brand name anywhere that (IMO) cheapens the look. My only negative, for now, is that I can’t just grab this enclosure and bring them along with me to work.

The main thing we looked for was the door and top space bc jumping spiders like the top of their enclosures. We are new spider owners and this is such a cute enclosure compared to all the others I’ve seen. It’s got a dainty, minimalistic vibe!! Priced comparable to all the others as well. Very happy with this purchase for our new little pet!! Love it!!
Jeremy & My –
The gaps around the door when it is fully closed and latched are big enough for spiders to crawl through.
This would make a beautiful terrarium but definitely not a spider habitat as advertised.

Definitely make sure your insect meets the size requirements. The holes for the vents are quite large and the gap by the door was a worry for me. My spider is about an inch big but any smaller and I think she would escape. I do wish this enclosure was siliconed but you can easily so that yourself if you’d like. I’m very happy with it, much more appealing than the acrylic counter parts and my spider is happy with more room! Would recommend!
